I thought the story was great but his directing seems to be getting more basic.

Still 8/10 from me though

Loved it. Nice cameo from Franco Nero ( From the original 1966 film banned in UK for 27 years) but Christophe Waltz steals the film.

I agree with most comments it was a good movie. Lol Quentin Tarantino as the Australian. I prefer him stay to behind the camera.

Really wanted to enjoy this, and did to a certain degree, but my, it really felt loooooooooong

Loved the performances by Waltz, Jackson and DiCaprio and the 'bag heads' scene was absolutely brilliant...but the final half hour or so really did seem to run out of ideas and lose it's way

As for Mr Tarantino's appearance........truly felt self indulgent and absolutely pointless and awful.

Some great bits, but I felt could have really done with some serious editing.

6/10

FINALLY got around to seeing this. Not much point writing a review at this late stage, so here's more of character analysis and my thoughts on Tarantino being style over substance.

Aside from the crap QT cameo and two particularly violent and gratuitous scenes that could have done with scrapping, I loved this.
Di Caprio and Waltz outshine all others. 9/10

I reluctantly watched this yesterday. Not really a film I would usually be interested in but gave it a go due to the hype. I did really enjoy it, loved the injections of comedy. For me only let down by the length and the fact it had a couple of scenes that were unnecessary.

That said a good 8/10

This was sheer class from start to finish. I loved it - was somewhat disappointed by Inglourious Basterds, which I felt to be too self-referential and disjointed, but QT's style suits the western incredibly well. We're given fabulous characters (Christoph Waltz is a joy - great to see him win the BAFTA), a script containing one of the funniest scenes in any Tarantino movie ('We all thought that the bags were a good idea...') and an influx of brutal and bloody shootouts set among a soundtrack of gritty guitars and rap records. The pace isn't quite held throughout but I thought that it was QT's best film since Jackie Brown. 9/10

Brilliant film, directed well.
Di Caprio amazing! Truly gifted actor. I would watch it again no doubt, last 20 or so minutes did drag on, but Samuel L. Jackson gave a fantastic performance and made the final scenes worth the watch.
