Arrghh I'm so gutted at the time, the last bus from cineworld is at 11.20, the tram goes a little later but then I'd have to still leave ridiculously early as I'd still have to get a bus in town.
I think I'll just use my free direct holidays ticket to see it on Wednesday or Thursday.

Yeah 10pm would be great, I've even emailed SFF about it as I'm disappointed at having to leave at midnight and miss the last 10-15mins of it, and that's if it starts on time. Those of you going will have to post in spoilers how it ends.
Just checked the running time and it comes in at 125 mins long, so even i'm slightly miffed as to the late start when an hour earlier would have been fine. And yes i'm in a car too Steve but still find it annoying.

Elski - if you live in the south of town me and OH could give you a lift, we go round the ring road through Darnall, Manor Top, to end up at Norton/Lowedges if that helps.
thanks for the offer but I don't (I've sent you a PM). It's ok I'll just duck out early, although I think I looked up the running time in the wrong place yesterday (the tell ten page I think!) and it said 102mins. Now it's 125 it's a good half hour I'll miss but if I'm enjoying it I might p*y to see it again later. Although I doubt it as I'm not a horror fan and I'm only more intersted in seeing it as it was filmed at Chatsworth and when I went there last summer they had an exhibition on how they'd aged the building and gardens to make it look right for the film.

They filmed it at Chatsworth? Didn't know that! Been there once, it's a grand place.

Parts of it are yeah, although a bit like pride&prejudice they can't close the building to visitors for long but I assume it was in the winter months for exterior shots. The Duchess was filmed there too, but it would have to be being baout the Duchess of Devonshire.

I'm aiming to do the double but I would have preferred it if this started at 9-9.30pm instead. It's going to be such a late finish, public transport will be difficult etc.

I've done the double before (can't remember the films off the top of my head) but I remember it was 6.30 at Odeon Greenwich and then 8.30 at Vue Greenwich. The cinemas are about a 5 minute drive from each other, although the car park at the Vue is a bit of a walk away because of the whole Dome complex so you have to give yourself about 10-15 minutes to do it comfortably. Luckily for us the first film finished at around 8.10pm and we rushed straight out and jumped in the car. No time for food / refreshments but it worked out well that time. 8.30pm was a little close, especially considering that a lot of films are around 2 hours these days but 9pm would have been great.

Oh wow, well impressed that it's filmed at chatsworth, didn't know that either. I went there to see the exhibition they had up after filming the Duchess. Hope they do something similar after Wolfman but can't really imagine it somehow.

Was that the exhibition last summer? they did have a bit about the wolfman in the last room, only a few pictures and a bit of a write up about it. Most of the rest of the exhibition was about The Duchess as it's so much more connected to the house & history.

I'm pretty sure the running time is 102 mins. That was the version submitted to the BBFC. It has the details on the BBFC website. http://www.bbfc.co.uk/recent/films All the cinema websites have it at 102 mins as well. I think it's only IMDB that has it a 125mins. Which is great news for me because I'll be able to catch the last train now.
