It'll probably be different because they expect people to have tickets to both.

Yeah last year they had a very funny appearance from Mickey Rourke and Darren Aronofsky. Geena Davis turned up for The long kiss goodnight, but sometimes there's no cast members/directors, as when they showed Breakdown, The Age of Innocence. I think in recent years they definitely try to get someone in from the film.

I was walking past Leicester Square around 6pm last night and they were already setting up for the premiere tonight. It looked like a huge event, like when they do the James Bond premieres there and they are using 2 screens I believe tonight, Odeon Leicester Square and Empire too.

It's
a) the premiere
b) the start of the London Film Festival
c) full of stars like George Clooney who will be attending

There will be hundreds of screaming fans probably camped out for hours!

Most most disappointing Meryl Streep didn't attend. As I said before she never attends any of these things. Twice I've been to her premiere and disappointed. Wes Anderson said she had the flu, funny the first line in the film was about her character being sick! I hear she doesnt even like going to the oscars or doing any press junkets. Oh well, when Wes Anderson said sorry Meryl had the flu, at least Bill Murray saw the funny side and shouted to the audience "And standing in for Meryl is........." and he jumped onto the stage. And we had George Clooney shout at the end when he was leaving the stage "Oh by the way, everyone dies in this film...hahaha" Nice to see George and Bill can have a laugh with the audience and have a good time. I think they will be out and about town tonight and going to some club to celebrate. Anyway time for me to go now and have a drink with my friend who kindly came with me to the premiere.
