"You get what you settle for." - Susan Sarandon as Louise Sawyer in Thelma and Louise.

There has been a lot of attention about the universal law of abundance and attraction. This quote from Thelma and Louise sums it up quite nicely. What we put on our attention is what we attract into our life. If we put our attention on what we don't want we will get more of it.

Hi all, hope you are all somewhere nice and warm !

Continuing with Baz Luhrmanns Everybodys free to wear sunscreen ...

Do one thing everyday that scares you, Sing, Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours. Floss, Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.

Have a wonderful week !

That's not good. To counter that I'm posting a quote:

"Do or do not. There is no try." - Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back.

The concept of trying is something the mind invents to keep us locked in an unhealthy prison. We either do it or we don't. It doesn't even matter what results we achieve. Life is in the doing!

Couple more from the fantastic everybodys free to wear sunscreen by Baz Luhrmann

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
old's I know still don’t.

Enjoy your body, use it every way you can… don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.. Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room, read the directions, even if you don’t follow them, do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

couple more ...

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, tell me how

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders. Respect your elders.

And finally from this series ....

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
scientists whereas the rest of my advice (given in posts above) has no basis more reliable
than my own meandering
experience…

Baz Luhrmann - Everybodys free (to wear suncreen ) 1999

This song has been a big part of me since its release in 1999 , I actually graduated in 1999 and didn't have a clue where to go in life from there and this song released at about that time and the advice given in it was just so amazing, even to this day the advice always seems new and fresh everytime I read it or hear it.

I hope everyone who read the the posts with all the advice from this song enjoyed it as much as i did and it inspires you all in one way or another

:)
