I made the mistake of going to Westfield to get a Christmas card for my sister. Big mistake. Next year I'll make sure I get one in October

I got laughed at by my old work colleagues when someone noticed on the back of the card. You can recycle this card at Tesco's in 2006, or something like that

Woo Hoo!!! Finally finished shopping & wrapping!! Yippee!! Just need to get cooking.....have 12 for lunch on Saturday!!
Just a thought I'd share what we do with Christmas Crackers as its become an bit of a tradition which everyone looks forward to.
Even if you b*y expensive crackers they are still just filled with useless junk, it's just made of metal instead of plastic, so one year I just got some cheap crackers, untwisted the ends, inserted a lottery scratch card in each (they were quite new & still a bit of a novelty at the time) and twisted them back up. It went down a storm, everybody loved it and my sister won £40 and my aunt £10!!
So I've done it ever since, often b*ying kits and making the crackers making it even cheaper & the kids enjoy it, its just a little something everyone looks forward to it.....trouble is its nearly always my sister or aunt that win!! lol
