Just keep trying, also might be another code for tomorrow.

Also on the ticket from SFF it does say you need to collect tickets between 3pm-6pm. Also if you are a Sky account holder you can book a Sky Backstage lounge pass, might be a bit more comfortable waiting around in there for them to get on stage.

Only problem with Sky Backstage is they say if you leave the lounge there is no readmittance so if you want to see Thin Lizzy beforehand I assume they wont let you back in...

As long as your wristbands on you shouldn't have a problem, I've been on and out before, doesn't cost anything for a pass so worth giving it a try anyway.

I think on a Guns and Roses night it would be in their own business interests to let people in and out of the lounge area ! Probably their most profitable night of the year !

There are a lot of big concerts at the O2, G&R is no exception. I've been to for instance Katy Perry in the recent past (hey, it was free ;)) and but I think once you leave Sky Backstage you can't go back in?

This is what I thought. Last year was lucky to see 5 events at the main arena (all free !!) and each occasion was told when we left Sky Backstage you cant go back in

You can go back in as long as you keep your wristband on, you can't go back in once the main act starts, they also normally open after the show, although I doubt this will be the case with GnR, so I normally go back in for half hour or so and wait for the crush on the train to die down.

Ah that might be the difference with my experience then, I think we stayed until after the opening acts had finished anyway ;)

Hi,

Woohoo just got tickets for the London gig but I want some advice from those who have been before via Showfilm First Tickets. The Showfilm first printout says 7pm but judging by posts here I'm gathering Guns and Roses won't be on until late. So what happens at 7pm? Is there a support act or support acts throughout the waiting? Basically, I'm kind of double booked and even if I wasn't I would not want to be sitting around from 7pm twiddling my thumbs because no one on stage. I was wondering if anyone ended up coming into the arena much later into the arena to counteract Guns and Roses punctuality issues? Im hoping that if nothing interesting going on exactly at 7pm I may as well do a Guns and Roses and follow their footsteps by being late for their gig. Any advice would be appreciate. Thanks.

Yes all I can say is be prepared for a very late night, I would suggest you get your tickets from the box office and then leave again, maybe go for a meal or something, Thin Lizzy is the support group who were ok but they were also late to come on and it felt like they played every song they ever did 'Boys are back in town' was the best, think it lasted for 2 hours! TL finished about 10:00pm then it was another long 1hour & 15min wait until G&R finally made an appearance who finished at 2:15!!! Anyway book tomorrow off work and I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time, hope you enjoy!

Havana Rumble

#4570 Post by ZoeBanfield » Thu May 31, 2012 11:04 am

Hi,

Did anyone go and see Havana Rumble yesterday at the E4 Udderbelly on the SOuthbank? I did, AMAZING dancers, GREAT music FANTASTIC band !! :) I took my Mum who loves her Buena Vista Social Club albums and was thrilled to see Eric Turro perform. The dancers have so much energy and passion. Combined with the weather yesterday, it really felt like summer!
