I'm thinking now of getting the wife and I a tent and sleeping bags to dump in the garage. That way if tickets for any festivals nearer for home come up then we can get out the emergency "festival" kit :)

I just managed to get 1 ticket to a sold out Fear Factory gig this evening at the Underworld! Wohoo!!!

A great atmosphere at an outdoor event - cant beat any of the Rewind 80's festivals (showing my age here !!)

Anyone going? . I have never do anything spontaneous like this before,
but i am seriously pondering on it - with my two eldest kids 9yo + 13yo.
Has anyone been before? is it child friendly ?
ive been to V festival so know how bad toilet facilities get after a few days,
is this any better?

i was watching the 2011 Rockness on the BBC a few days ago, and it looked suprisingly underpopulated for its scale. But it looked great.
Cant believe they are giving away £200 tickets for nothing.
Where are you travelling from?
