Wow moviemann you know me so well. I have them in single portion microwave dishes I'm taking some in for my friend and OH is taking his into work for his friend along with the chapatis. I added my fresh coriander (well frozen but I had frozen it as b*ght a lot but still worked). I still have 5 portions to freeze which are perfect on a cinema evening. Huge thanks to you.

Good morning good people. Just looking at Preston1990's pictures of him so cycling in the countryside wishing that I could do it today :D Hopefully I will be able to get out before it gets dark tonight :cross:

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with a banana and strawberries (300 calories)
Hummous with red peppers on ryvita crackerbread followed by a yoghurt (300 calories)
Moviemann's chickpea and potato curry with a chapati and large side salad (500 calories)
If anyone is looking for "chickpeas" online it is cheaper if you look for "chick peas" as when you have it as one word it comes in the regular section but as two words in the Asian section (I was planning meals and looking up prices as I'm quite frugal   ). I noticed this when I was looking for Moviemann's recipe he uses 2 words whereas the I use 1.

Have a good day everyone and keep posting o/ A few people on here are being a tad elusive ;)

Just say the word Diane, and get yourself along to the Millenium Bridge for 10:30 this morning and you could be. I'll even bring a spare bike (this one) for you to use. o/

It's a tandem you need for cycling with Diane so she can keep up with you. :p There again you would probably accuse her of not doing any of the pedalling! ;)

I have never had a bike and wouldn't be able to ride one. My brother had a bike and I had a scooter when we were kids so only once had a try and that was it. Still, I can go on the exercise ones at the gym - if I feel the need!!

Out for lunch today with friends and a natter. Don't think any part of me except my tongue will get any exercise today.

Still on the warm up exercises Diane, I get so stiff by the morning. Can now touch the floor with the palms of my hands- result! I am so short, the floor really comes up to meet me.

Not been eating properly in the last week as I have been very stressed at work. There are a lot of changes happening at quite a speed. If I see another baked potato I will scream.....

On the positive, have gone out for walks with OH which have helped and caught a very small Bass tonight at the beach, it was put back. One day I will catch something of an edible size.

Exactly even though I would be doing all the hard work ;) I would have loved to have joined you Preston1990 and that bike would have been perfect o/ Biggins it is good to exercise your tongue o/

I did manage to go blackberry picking tonight and got a tub full before it went dark plus my friend gave me some rhubarb (stewed in individual portions - I don't bother with sugar I like sour) and huge green beans (blanched and frozen) plus I froze my blackberries on a baking tray and put in a bag so easier to grab a handful so lots of healthy free food in my freezer.

Hope you enjoyed your biriani Moviemann o/

I must agree with you there Moviemannn, it's been glorious!

I'm very impressed with your restraint foodwise today - saving yourself for your mums food tonight no-doubt. I bet she's a fab cook! o/

I had a fantastic time biking today - I waited for you till 11:00 Diane, but you never showed :p

Here's just a snippet of my day to show you what you missed ;) ( :shifty: I'm that rather inelegant fat bloke in blue on the red bike, for those who are curious ;) )

http://youtu.be/4c8b7o-qk3g

TODAY'S MENU

1. Muesli with semi skimmed milk and green grapes

2. Moviemannn's Potato and Chickpea Curry with assorted salad leaves with ham and red pepper (eaten in the sunshine, sitting on a rock on top of an old railway viaduct in fabulous scenery.

3. Meatball's Al Forno with crusty bread.

4. Ham sandwich. Pot of tea.

Hope you got some Blackberries tonight Diane. :cross:

We must have been typing at the same time and well done with the exercises it does get easier and enjoyable in time plus your flexibility really does improve which is my weakness whereas the stamina and strength it is sheer determination that gets me through.

Stress can be a killer food wise and I hope that it gets easier at work plus the walking will help to clear your head. There are loads of good recipes on this thread so I hope you can find inspiration. Well done with the fishing o/

This is so funny we are all chatting at the same time :giggle: Your bike ride looks fabulous Preston1990.

Blackberries Diane, you made me think. Now I am planning to go foraging for elderberries et al over the weekend. Must have a more positive drive/outlook. Also a quick trip to IKEA for some lovely bottles for the Pontack sauce.
