Why do you ask? I'd be surprised if it were cancelled last minute like that.

There weren't any premiere style barricades or red carpets when I walked past earlier, but if it's any consolation Ryan Phillippe might come along tonight, since he's in london.

I was told there's not gonna be a red carpet due to the building work

Lol....I think they still had it for the recent Sucker Punch and The Eagle premiere. The building works shouldn't affect it

Well, if there was a premiere, no one could tell. Warner Brothers also had a LOT of seats reserved at the Empire so I don't know what the story was. For all intents and purposes, the Empire was a premiere without the red carpet. We all got water and popcorn and a nice introduction from the director and cast prior to the film. Amanda Seyfried even stopped for photos and autographs on the way out after the intro.

The film itself wasn't as horrible as I feared it would be. Yeah it's a bit cheesy (especially the dialogue) and the very end scene is remarkably stupid but it's senseless fun. I could spend 100 minutes of my time watching far less lovely things than Mandy, so I'm probably a bit biased. Gary Oldman was enjoyable if OTT and it's a shame he wasn't there tonight. I have to say that I did like how they worked in the whole "What big eyes you have..." bit. All that said, this isn't something I'd race out to see again. Once was fine and enough. 6.5/10

I still don’t know if the Empire screening was the premiere or not since nothing was happening outside the Vue cinema and there were press and photographers at Empire. This was held in the plush screen 1 at Empire which was almost full by the time the film started. Lovely to see prettyxcool and denichka there.

As was correctly predicted the screening did not start on time. The stars turned up at about 7.15pm.

I was sitting on the corner by the entrance where the stars came in so I was literally two feet away from Amanda Seyfried and the other celebs :D whilst they were waiting to be called to the front of the screen. My damn phone camera is crap (about a 5 second delay from when I press the button) so I have lots of photos of the back of her head but no decent shots. There was brief Q&A with Catherine Hardwick (director), Amanda Seyfried, Max Irons and Shiloh Fernandez.

The film itself was clearly made by the director of Twilight! It has all the trademarks of that film: moody glances, supernatural romance, wide scenic shots of mountains and forests and the soundtrack sounded similar. There were lots of young girls who applauded this at the end which says enough! This was watchable but superficial. It was easy viewing but there was not much thought involved. The acting was decent but there was no real character complexity involved. The ending felt unsatisfying. I think this was definitely aimed to Twihards. I am glad I did not p*y to see this. 4/10.

Decided to pass on the "Itshideous" tickets, and go to this instead tonight, red carpet or not, it was the first UK showing after all. And I could have walked in with any piece of paper in my hand, they barely looked at my printout. From my seat I spotted Jeremy Clarkson walking in, geez, what big belly he has...

The film was kind of dull for me, lovely scenery (filmed in Canada) and the village sets were all pretty good, but it never got going, there wasn't much tension, or very strong chemistry between Valerie and the boy (I forget his name). The cgi werewolf looked like Wile E. Coyote in places, and when Valerie started saying "What big eyes you have.." a lot of people laughed! No wonder a lot of reviews have been grim! ;) Seeing this once is more than enough.. 5/10

Nice to see the director and cast in attendance, though I nearly choked on my popcorn when they referred to Catherine Hardwicke as "one of the greatest directors of all time..." Huh?

I can't add anything different to what's allready been said. It's aimed at young girls who will love it. Rant at the two girls behind us who talked all the way through. If you are not interested in the film leave!

4/10 for the scenery and the nice shot of the long red hood trailing in the snow on the mountains
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I actually am a teenage girl so really quite liked it! :P

I thought that it was a good film, although I correctly managed to predict who the wolf was way before the end :)

I was rooting for Peter all the way through - how can you say there was no chemistry????????? Oh well, it's your opinion and I respect that :)

Was disappointed that there was no actual red carpet outside, but I got there quite early and it seemed like they were trying to pretend to the paparazzi that the celebs wouldn't be there because the manager was like 'nothing's going on here so just leave - you're wasting your time' etc etc. ;)

Also, have to add, the guys clean up really well, and Amanda was as beautiful as ever! (My pics were also not that great although you can still tell who they are of) =D

My rating = 6.5/10
