I should be there with my three nieces, although I have to re-check this with my brother.

I can't believe I missed the tickets for this....gah.

My kid saw the trailer when I took him to see The Smurfs last week (over 14 bastard quid for myself and a 3 year old btw 8O)...I wasn't actually planning on spending this ridiculous amount but the Kids AM screening of Horrid Henry was fully booked.

Anyway, I digress...

I would love to see it on the big screen. I'm not generally a fan of Disney's hand drawn animation but THIS is a massive exception.

Second viewing this morning at Odeon Greenwich. Arrived at 10am to a closed door and a long queue, how typical. Some inconsiderate b*st*rds then grabbed every last Lion King poster before we could get there. We were shown to screen 11 which is quite bigger than the normal offering, and features some nice rows of gallery seats similar to the balcony seats at the O2, which we were categorically told, however, we were not allowed to use. I even went down to complain to a manager but they wouldn't budge. Apparently it's an in-house rule that they only open the gallery seats in the evening. Well, they can do what they like in their p*ying screenings but I would have thought that if you book a screen for a free preview, the whole screen is up for grabs! It certainly never is a problem at the Sky superscreen at the O2, so both Disney and the Odeon will be hearing from me. It just feels mean-spirted and spiteful to deny us all the good seats. I was ok in my premiere seats, but that's not the point. I would have loved to be a bit further away from the noisy, talkative kids around us! Bunch of brats they were.

Followed the screening with a lovely Tastecard meal at Henry's at West India Quay, formerly known as Bar 38, and after having had another shower, I almost feel human again. I am not sure though that I can bring myself to leave for the Street Kings 2 screening in an hour so might just skip that - it's too darn hot to go out, especially when you can sunbathe on your own sofa!

Oh yes, who was it who said hello to OH on the way in? He told me he saw one of our friends but couldn't remember their name!

Saw it at Greenwich today, was pretty excited to be in the gallery but then like Beate said they closed of the best seats. I didn't know they has posters!! I was like the 6th person in the queue. I would have loved a poster!

But I loved the film. Thanks so much to hopeprince and canadian_turtle for the tickets! Even though i've seen it so many times before i still had tears in my eyes when mufasa dies and simba's reaction but overall it was really great! I had a goofy smile on my face pretty much throughout the movie

Fingers crossed they re-release TLK 2:cross:

I actually quite liked the second one, obviously not as good as the first one but good enough. I have yet to see the third one though.

They were small posters and they were lying on top of the area with the bar stools next to the usher?
