Would love to go for this at some point!! They seem to get good line ups!
Me too, but the tickets are so expensive. I'm participating in all the Sonisphere competitions I manage to find. Hope I win some tickets :cross:

To be honest, I've seen a lot of the bands before, that's why I don't feel like p*ying so much money.

The only gig I've got planned so far is AIR at the Forum on the 10th July.

Anyone else going?

I've got 3 this week alone. Rufus Wainwright at Kenwood House tomorrow, Them Crooked Vultures at the Brixton Academy on Monday and Arcade Fire at Hackney Empire on Wednesday.

Tickets for this free Prom will be available from Friday 9 July. There is a maximum of 20 tickets per booking for this event. For group bookings (10 tickets and more) you will need to phone the Box Office on 0845 401 5040 from Friday 9 July.

http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/ ... fault.aspx

I have some more info about this:

This is a rendition of the 1910 last night of the proms and is not, in fact, a chance to go to the last night of the proms. You need to p*y to see 5 other proms to even enter a ballot for that or try to win one of 200 other tickets. 8O

Sorry if my post (copied from somewhere) has misled anyone.

Some people are going to phone the box office at 1 minute past midnight to try to get tickets, but I wonder whether it will be open for business...

Hi bevvy and ucakpam, how was Ozzy Osbourne? Is he worth seeing live? I would love to hear your views. I have the chance to go to Ozzfest, but I am not sure that I can cope with that much heavy metal in one day!

I did look at the ebay tickets but did not feel happy about bidding for them.

It was great! I wasn't expecting Ozzy to be so active: throwing buckets of water at the crowd, making everyone clap/wave their arms, moving around the stage, etc. His voice still sounds good, thankfully. I knew about one third of the songs, so I really enjoyed the gig. :D

Do you know any of the other bands playing at the Ozzfest? I really like Korn but I don't have a clue who the other support acts are. I saw Korn at the Brixton academy some years ago, but was bitterly disappointed with the concert.

Anyone have any idea what's happening at the iTunes Festival on the 11th? On the line-up list it's blank but it says 'competition closed' next to it.

I really enjoyed Ozzy. It was a really nice venue as well - we were able to get quite close to the stage (just out of range of his buckets of water) without being in a crowd.

Heavy metal is not my first musical choice -I will always be a punk at heart (even though I no longer look like one) .
But I must admit Ozzfest sounds quite tempting..... I hope there will be some competitions to enter for tickets.

OZZY OSBOURNE will be accompanied on the main stage by KORN, MURDERDOLLS and SKINDRED, plus a special guest TBC, with more acts still to be announced for the second stage. In addition to the music on offer, OZZY and co will take over the entire O2 complex, offering up a Village Of The Damned, with fairground rides, stalls and tattooists.
