Son of Anarchy season 3 has already started showing in America. I'm not sure how soon it will show on British TV. I don't actually watch British TV at all. I really dislike it (except documentaries and sometimes games).valda wrote:I watch more US show than English, my fav has just started in America.Sons of Anarchy Season 3. I'm looking forward to Boardwalk Empire, and Treme whenever they start. Once Sky start showing the HBO stuff, I'll be glued to the screen
I'm going to give Boardwalk Empire a go but from looking at the synopsis, I'm not quite sure I'd enjoy it.

Re: TV Finales - Lost, Ashes to Ashes, Fringe, Flash Forward
Perhaps we need to re-title this thread - how about TV Discussion? Just a thought.
'Goodfellas' the TV series?
A TV series of classic mob movie 'Goodfellas' is reportedly in the works.
The much-loved 1990 gangster epic was based on the true story of mobster Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) who ended up turning police informant on his friends, including those played by Robert De Niro and Paul Sorvino.
Nicholas Pileggi wrote the screenplay, which was based on his own book 'Wiseguy', and will work on the TV show - according to Deadline.com.
The Hollywood gossip site is claiming that Warner Bros is leading the chase to sign up the show, but several studios are said to be keen.
The reports follows news that HBO's crime epic 'Boardwalk Empire' has been renewed for a second season after the airing of the series' pilot.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, the 1930s mob drama was lauded by critics.
'The Sopranos' creator David Chase has always stated that his acclaimed TV show was inspired by 'Goodfellas'.

I agree. Although I thought about starting a whole new topic. When I posted about the HBO stuff I originally added a link to a youtube trailer for 'You Don't Know Jack' but as this thread is titled TV Finales I thought it would be going a bit off topic so I deleted it.

Yes glassy, do change it. I don't think Syd can change this section. It has to be Beate or AYBG (or you since you're the OP).
BTW, Fringe was okay for a first episode glassy!
