Last one for today :)

Splinters: A good way to remove splinters, prickles, glass fragments or anything you want drawn out of skin is to crack open a raw egg and peel the skin/membrane from the inside of the shell. Immediately place it, wet side down, on whatever you want drawn out and wait till it is dry. You will feel a strong pulling sensation.

More tips next week! Have a great weekend! :)

Making a perfect parcel: Before tying up your parcel, dampen the string. Then carry on tying up your package as per usual. Whilst drying, the string will get tighter, and as a consequence tighten up the parcel better.

Apply wallpaper properly: First of all, are you left or right handed? If you are right handed then you need to start on the right hand side of the window and vice versa. To make the joints as less visible as possible, always start on the wall, which is perpendicular to the window.

Storing celery in the fridge: If you wrap your celery in tin foil before placing it in the fridge it will last for weeks, and it will still be fresh and crisp when you pull it out! This also works for stored broccoli for 7 weeks wrapped in tin foil, and heads of lettuce for at least 6 weeks!

Reviving your carpet: To revive an old carpet which has become grey, powder it with some cooking salt and let it rest for an hour. Then brush the carpet and clean it with a vacuum cleaner.
