Apart from MrG has anyone else worked out where they are planning to stay whilst in Edinburgh? Just getting a few ideas including perhaps renting an flat if anyone else is up for that or just staying in hotel?

Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

I love Apex Hotels and right now they are having their Winter sale just now. Ending tonight. So am going to be booking into their Waterloo Place venue for the weekend. Anyone else want to join me? It is not the cheapest but it is a lovely hotel for a great price just now. Going for room only as you can get breakfast in town for less than what they are charging.

Ah cool. That's the other side of the town from mines. Close to both Haymarket strain station and a tram stop. Plus it is close to where biggins live. Oh and you can keep the duck in the bathroom too.

You are very welcome to join us in our hotel anytime if you like a swim or sauna. OH doesn't like that so you could pretend to be her.

There will now be two more friends with me. Usually around Easter we all go away so I kinda of put the two weekends together as I couldn't see another free weekend. Hope people don't mind. Whether they will join us in the official meet I wont know till nearer the time

Yes just five minutes walk to my wee flat. But I've not got a duck in my bathroom! :noo: Plus if you are a rugby fan the Murrayfield Rugby Stadium is not far from me either.
