There were quite a few laughs and a nice energy... like the french, we all clapped at the end : )
I knew the plot twist so it wasn't as gripping for me as it should have been. Also I'm cynical about its authenticity (although an upcoming court case will reveal all : )
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it. Nev is pretty to look at, which helps ; ) it gets quite moving at the end, and it is put together in a nicely paced way.

I reckon it would have been more full if all those prime seats weren't reserved for the Invisible Man and his family :shifty:

Just had an email from Momentum about the cancelled screening of Catfish at Cineworld- West India Quay. They have rescheduled it for Wednesday 22nd December at 20.00. Great!

I know Elski has already posted that you can rent this now, albeit for £7.99 (i.e. as much, if not more than the cost of a cinema ticket) but it looks as if it's available at normal rental rates from 27 December, i.e. a week from today. Given the weather I think I'll have more chance of renting it than of seeing it in the cinema in the near future.

So I went to the screening of the rescheduled one at WIQ. There were about 20 people, and the film started late, so quite a late showing as it was an 8pm showing anyway.

Hadn't read any reviews before going to see it, but it was very watchable and interesting. It felt very much like a fly on the wall documentary without the narrative and interviews. Whether it is real or not real, I thought it is very cleverly done. 5/10

That's a pretty harsh rating for something you seemed to enjoy.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.
