Well I really liked it. There were quite a few laughs in the cinema. It was nowhere near as good as the first film, but I would've been happy to p*y to see it.

Well I didn't know what to expect, I thought it was going to be a Comedy, and I guess it was a Comedy Drama.

At the end of the preview I said "that I didn't know what to make of it"...I will watch East is East tonight and see if I get any answers.

Did I enjoy it...not too sure ! which is strange for me, not to have a definitive answer in my mind.

Wow what a jam packed screening at the Empire Leicester Square today, it must have been 80% full and that's in the big screen 1. I didn't so many people were capable of waking up so early on a Sunday morning...haha
Well I haven't read any reviews for this film, I've only seen bits of East is East. Did I enjoy the film? Yes, it was a very solid feel-good film you would expect from BBC Films. It's kind of a double edged sword though, what you get with quality comes heavy with slightly preachy messages about family, about race, marriage, growing up. I thought it was marginally heavy handed at times. The audience laughed quite abit and despite the early morning, I warmed up to the film too by the end.
I thought the acting throughout was very solid too. Maybe if I've seen the whole of East is East, I might rank this lower, but nevertheless it's getting a solid 7/10 from me ;)

Pretty empty screening in Glasgow. Although it was a big screen. I did laugh at somone in the car next to me running as soon as the doors opened to get in.

The film was good for what it was, just not my cup of tea.
June: San Andreas (7/10), Danny Collins (9/10)

I made the mistake of watching East is East in preparation for this movie and inevitably, led me to form a basis of comparison. It was enjoyable, not as humorous as its predecessor, though with a lot more culture infused...

**SPOILER ALERT** IT WAS A HAPPY ENDING WHAT A SHOCKER

6/10 :D
