Well done & every little helps! All you have to remember is 'a loss is a loss'

I will have to check the DVD out when I manage to get back on full workouts. I had 2 shoulder operations last year so I am only able to do bike & treadmill in the gym (I would prefer not to have to p*y and run outside, but as of March I should be able to!) I have heard about a few DVD's that I would like to try, the Vicky someone one which is new. I had the woman from Biggest Loser (I think, I don't watch much TV really) Gillian something she is called & that was good. 30 day shred I think it was called.

There are some recipes here so you can try them. My favourite is the Chicken & Ham tangle pie, chicken korma (which isn't as bland as a normal korma, but we can never have only 2 curries anyway - I like a little bit of a lot of stuff) and I can't for the life of me think of anything else but I am sure there will be. We have used to consistently for at least a year now. :D

Eggs are great, they fill you up for longer! Well done, I am not sure I would have been able to say no!

Thanks for the link missmac - had a look and printed it off. Will have to tweak a little but looks tasty. OH is on a pastry binge, corned beef pasties, Blue cheese puffs so this will fit in. I wont be eating the pastry and will make mine with a mash or potato slice topping (gluten allergy).

Oh there is a pasty recipe and maybe a couple of pie recipes too (individual type ones) I will see if I can find them on line for him :)

Oooh have you tried sweet potato mash instead? I also sweet potato & tunip mash which was lovely on a cottage pie!

We have a lot of work to do on the house so we have decided only camping holidays this year to keep costs down - I am sure by December I am going to be pulling my hair out for some constant 7 day sun (because Sheffield isn't really known for it's tropical climate!)
We're known for being quite tropical in Manchester so why don't you join us all at the Manchester FMUK meet up when it is guaranteed sunshine for the bargain price of 10 pound return on the train? o/ I also want to try camping one day :D

Well done Baty on the weight loss a move in the right direction o/ Just tried both the exercise and recipe link but blocked as at work :wall: Good luck finding the DVD o/

Oh when is it? I am sure I have seen something about it somewhere.

Camping is lots of fun, you must try it at least once (but make sure you go with someone who has all of the gear it makes a world of difference) - we took my OH's little boy for the first time last year & being 5 he loved it. We didn't do a lot last year in the UK but needs must!

Hey thanks for all the tips that you are giving us Missmac o/

I'm going to put them into practice this week. I need to be stricter with my portion control and also cut out my nighttime snacking.

It was my weekly weigh-day today and I've gained a pound over last week :wall:

Ah well, c'est last vie, and all that! :D

I'm going to try really hard over the next week to be good and have b*ght lots of veggies so that I can make stuff from fresh rather than eating too much ready meal stuff. :D

Haven't been on the forum much this week, sorry! Concentrating on repairing my car which has developed some baffling electrical faults.

Well done for the weightloss Baty. It all counts! o/

Your missing DVD is not still in the machine is it? I'm always doing that.

We have been camping Diane65 , mostly in France and Spain. After our first 'camp' I said that I needed a tent that I could stand up in! OH was happy to just slide into a tent but I wanted more. We have a tent that even I can put up on my own. I like the freedom to go on a journey and just look for a place to stay along the way. The municipal camp sites in France are a cheap way to get around, they have basic amenities showers, toilets and washing for dishes/clothes some have electricity hook ups.

We have stayed in Alquezar and San Sebastian in Spain. Alquezar has stunning scenery and there is a eurocamp site there (we stayed on a site nearby) they had lots of activities - rock climbing, river trekking, hiking etc. One of my best memories is standing in a shallow river with tiny fish nibbling my feet, looking at the vultures airing themselves on ledges opposite. I can feel the heat of the day even as I think of it.

Go for it, camping is great fun and you will have contact with the area and people.

No problem! Mine was a journey (which never seems to end really) and it's not easy! Snacking is a nightmare, mine is when I am at work but I do hear you.

I surround myself with fruit and that seems to do the trick. By the time I get to 3pm I am desperate for a chocolate fix. I am managing to fend this off at the moment with Chai Latte (its a powder which you add water to) and that's sorting that out at the moment! But for how long I have no idea.

You have to remember, it's only 1lb! If you can go a week with just 1lb and you're eating ready meals - can you imagine what you could do without those readies! I can't stand them now. Good old freezer for me! Get making more and portion the rest up and freeze o/

Just perfect. I will definitely try it now just need to find some willing company  I have stayed overnight a few times in a tent on our way to and from the Vendee and Brittany on the Eurocamps where we stayed in a caravan but I can't really call it camping as the tents were set up and we went out for our evening meal then had breakfast on the boat the following morning where I had a shower in the cabin. It was just stunning in France even the motorways are pretty to drive on with beautiful plants in the central reservations hiding the crash barriers. I would be more than happy to go on the municipal sites as long as there are showers and toilets I'm happy. Have any of you tried Glamping?

Saturday 5th April and all the information is on This Site thread, it would be brilliant if you could come as everybody I've met are just wonderful and I've still got quite a few more that I want to meet.

Preston I'm with you on the not in the zone as yet I even managed to fit in meeting up with a friend for coffee and cakes after work and before the cinema 8O
