Re: Weight Watchers
Really need to invest in some scales as I don't actually know how much I weigh, but I do know that the trousers which were becoming ridiculously tightly at the end of the year are quite loose today! Yay!!
Have stuck to porridge every morning, soup for lunch and a sensible dinner, no snacks other than a piece of fruit if I am really hungry on the odd day, tracked everything on MFP to keep track and most days have been inside my calorie target.
Tried the 7 minute work out app today, it proved just how unfit I am, especially when my 9 year old, finished and said 'wow that was fun, let's do it again' .

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done Rainey and John Milton on your weight loss. What a lovely feeling have your clothes feeling loose again. I'm ashamed to say that mine are still snug due to lack of exercise and too much food. No idea at all why I'm not getting my head in gear
Getting annoyed with myself as there is nothing stopping me exercising or eating sensibly apart from myself
Even more frustrating is I go away in 6 weeks now and I know that I will regret it if I don't do something about it.

It's easier said than done, especially working full time, I think the only way I am managing it is by having no treats in the house and not visiting the sandwich van at lunchtime!Diane65 wrote:Well done Rainey and John Milton on your weight loss. Re: Weight Watchers
Well done everyone on weight loss.
Having been at my 'ideal weight' for just over a year, for the past few months I'd become complacent and thought I could eat whatever I wanted...how wrong was I? Having put on several pounds, I got myself back into gear and 'in the zone' and managed to lose a couple of pounds before Christmas. I went back to get weighed this morning after all of the Christmas and New Year festivities as well as an all inclusive holiday and........I stayed the same weight. I was so chuffed. Being good doesn't mean missing out on any treats just means everything in moderation and one day at a time.
Have a good weight week everyone.

Re: Weight Watchers
Is there anything else on your mind? I know I have a few things going on that are stopping me from being better, I emotionally eat when I'm nervous or anxious or sad. I can't seem to get into the zone either, start off the day with good intentions but by night I've scoffed a handfull of biscuits after a decent dinner. Hopefully this week will be better for all us slow starters and just as successful for the achievers!Diane65 wrote:Well done Rainey and John Milton on your weight loss. Re: Weight Watchers
Thank you so much for being so thoughtful but there is absolutely nothing on my mind at all. Basically I think that I have too much free time at the weekends so eating to give me something to domoggers wrote:Is there anything else on your mind? I will post my menu when I return from the shops and Preston1990 it won't take me 4 days to return this time
Thanks everyone for being so supportive and making me get my head around it. And another thing I have put on the 1lb I lost the previous week

Re: Weight Watchers
Menu of the day:
Special K (300 calories)
Milkshake with a banana and raspberries (300 calories) - was supposed to be for breakfast so had defrosted raspberries but then realised no banana hence now had a banana hence lunch
Beef stew made by my Mother - was supposed to be for her Grandson but as the meat wasn't from Marks and Spencer she gave it to me instead
Grandson is a grown man and would have been happy with the stew but my Mother thinks hes a bit special and luckily I'm not
I'm guessing about 500 calories everywhere I look it says about 250 calories per portion but I can't see it being so few. Weight watchers jelly and tinned mandarins (50 calories)
I'm just off for a walk now to burn up some calories. Have a fun day everyone

Re: Weight Watchers
Due to a 'finicky' satellite dish, 4 cups of tea all day till my beef mince shepherds pie with roasted butternut squash. I had mango juice with some lemonade to wash it down and will have water for the rest of the night.
Not good to leave the food until so late but this has been the first dry day since???? Tried yesterday but the rain kept coming in off the sea every time we opened the ladder.
Too embarrassed to say what I ate yesterday
