Re: Weight Watchers
Maybe I can join in with my learning the piano? I have just found out, sorry learnt, what the keys are called. Have pottered around on the keyboard but not really knuckled down to it. Maybe I can get my tablet near to the keyboard to have some free lessons. You both have given me some inspiration to pull my finger out.

Re: Weight Watchers
Hmmm! Seems a while since Diane posted on here. Hope you are not on the Slippery Slip my dear!
Will expect a full report back as soon as you read this
Just been reading about your tremendous weightloss, fitness and smoking cessation story Stone-Monkey. That's really inspirational and just shows what can be achieved with tenacity and positivity.
Its salad for me again at lunchtime and then yet another fun filled afternoon trying to discover the reason for the battery drain and all those bizzare and confusing fault messages coming up on my car.
Try and be good everyone - I'm off to polish my clarinet

Oh dear, Preston -- here you are speaking about people who haven't been on here recently and the slippery slope -- you do know we were all in mourning with your long absence but very glad to see you back. Good luck recharging your battery!

Re: Weight Watchers
Hi folks,
I had a wee sneak peek at Preston's weight watchers log - that's really cool. Also cheers for your comment on my health kick story :) . Unfortunately i put a pound on last week - devastation
- well not really but I'm going to try a little harder this week. I had a good start with good run, swim and strength session this evening but I rewarded myself with Empire biscuits - Noooooo.... Just can't help myself. At least i stayed away from the camembert in the cheese section... another major downfall for me. But like my friend Luke the force must be with me. I was thinking of phoning the supermarket prior to my arrival and ask them to cordon of the cake section or stand there with tazers and if I approach it they give me one warning and zap - lol. Good luck everyone with your week. I do my weigh in on Friday - I'll report back then.

Yay! Well done DianeDiane65 wrote:.............. I have lost 2lbs so I'm happy.
Looks like you are back in the zone once again girl Good luck with resisting biscuit, cheese and cake temptation for the rest of the week Stone_Monkey. Sounds like you've made a good start on the exercise front this weekstone_monkey wrote:................. I do my weigh in on Friday - I'll report back then.
Thanks for the best wishes re sorting out my cars battery fault Ejwrank and Diane. It's one of those annoying intermittent faults that you think has solved itself, but then it returns at the most inconvenient times. Car works fine now but I know that the fault will come back at some point as other than check it over I haven't really done anything to put it right (as at the moment - there's nothing wrong).
Be good everyone!

Re: Weight Watchers
Well I see Preston is back and together seeing Diane a forever constant inspiration, I better get off my backside and be back too. Hello everyone
Well I got back to watching movies at the cinemas and that means more running again because I run when I go to the cinema. Its like my reward. I've seen ten film at the cinemas this month, I might well give PXC and Beate a run for their money on the films watched tally...obviously though, I dont see them for free but my Cinema Unlimited card aint bad value and I get to see what I want when I want in my peculiar random work schedules.
Unfortunately my complacency over the last couple of months meant I have dropped down the squash ladder to league two. My fitness took a bit of a dive so I am going to join you guys and work together to getting back to a healthy fitness lifestyle, reaching all of our personal goals and for me personally to get back to the top of my squash.
Good to see some of my old friends/acquantancies here being as awesome as always. Ejwrank, you too always so supportive here. And some new friends too, Stone Monkey...Howdy, loving your drive and attitude there, awesome
Well tomorrow, I have a squash league game. Will give it my best shot as usual but afterwards I'll catch a film and run home (about 8km).
Foodwise, I'll go back to the trusty 5-6 day, 5 small healthy meals a day and use Sundays as my comfort/reward day. I havent done that lately and it shows!
Keep it up guys :)
