I'm sorry, I had to resurrect this thread briefly. My final Christmas presents arrived earlier today, consisting of a "Bowling for Columbine" DVD, "The Shawshank Redemption" on blu-ray and a marvellous poster of "Pulp Fiction", which now sits proudly in a frame on my bedroom wall.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Oh that's not good Diane65, hope you get it very soon!!

I however have already started on next Christmas, have got some lovely little sets of smellies as stocking fillers reduced to £1 from £5 and have even got my Christmas Crackers reduced to £1.25 bargain I thought!! Exactly they type I would have b*ght.

We are on a 4 week rolling rota at work and I just worked out that I will be working this coming Christmas 18.00 - 23.30 Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th Dec B.Hol, New Years Eve & New Years Day!!!! :eek: Have been lucky up til now and only had to work 1 Xmas day in the past 5 years.....at least I have 11 months to get used to the idea!

I popped into Tesco this morning and somehow managed to b*y a 3ft Christmas tree for my daughter's bedroom at the princely sum of £1.25. As she wanted one this year and I got her a small potted one which she did not water once, this should be greatly received by her next Christmas!
