I managed to put in 2 sessions with the video today will probably miss the evening one as now in DD's house waiting to go to see Cuban Fury.

Had tea and toast for breakfast
A piece of loin chop with a honey and orange marinade with a Spoonful of left over mash for lunch - did this while doing the exercises
Tea/supper the other chop with salad

Mr G, I know your vids are working as I can now pull in my tum and there IS a difference :))

Dinner: Just had a delicious dinner of steamed (well sort of http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =280466999 - works out as it has added oil about 27 calories for the seasoning per person ) garlic chicken, sweet potato and salad with balsamic vinegar. I know that I could have seasoned it myself but got these to try for DD to take back with her as so convenient and as on offer gave it a try.
Sounds like a tasty breakfast in good company, nice :) so now perhaps make this your comfort day and rest of the week, eat healthier and keep remembering your goal. It's not about quantity of calories, its all about quality calories and you know what they are, clue: definitely not sizzlers ;)
Good positive note MrG so that can be my comfort day. I have already finished work for the day (I have a few odd hours still to take off so have 3 hours leave this afternoon) :cheer:

Yay, you're zoning in Diane, Great! o/ o/

Hmmm, I have to nitpick your menu though, that's a lot of sugar in there. Milkshake, rasberries, banana, yoghurt, sweet and sour chicken. Remember veggies have all the minerals and vitamins you need with out the sugar content.

Let me give you an example of a healthy to give you an idea of what you should try to work towards to.

Breakfast: high fibre cereal or porridge and low fat milk
Snack: A banana or apple (or mixed nuts and seed if you are not having fish on the day)
Lunch: 2 slices of whole grain bread with your ham or Salmon/mackeral/kippers with Lettuce and cocumbers (not tomatoes as that doesnt go well with fish for me, yuch)
Dinner: Chicken Breast preferable baked or roasted with steamed Broccoli and what ever other bright colour veggies and herbs you find in your cupboard.

Limit your sauces and make sure they are low fat.

Something along those lines. But cut out some of that sugary ingredients. For drinks...dont forget all fruit juices add up in sugar, so have plenty of water or peppermint tea. The beauty of drinking herbal tea or water is that it iradicates sweet cravings.

Just some pointers, you have already been through the successes but you can still do better! Also dont ever feel hungry, that's another big reason how sweet cravings occur.

Great stuff! o/ o/. Not my vids though Baty, as much I'd like to be a pretty fit girl ;)

Is that whole grain toast? :) And the rest of your menu sound great, all natural food including the honey. Of course you dont want too much honey but its natural. Natural is good, we should all try to consume as unproceesed food as much as possible. Its very difficult though, I have to admit. Supermarkets sure as hell makes it so. But we can try our best.

Keep it going guys, keep riciting your goals...its the only way to drive us.

I had my cricket nets yesterday and supposed to do some gym work today but I will have to settle for a short or fast run to the gym, just shower there, then watch a preview screening of some film called Dallas Club or something like that.

Edit: No...wait, I am prioritising the film over my scheduled gym workout. Wrong. I best go and do my gym workout and forget about the film...bit sad about not seeing the film but that's where the good pressures of sharing my schedule with all of you comes into force!

MrGlass I have had 10 different vegetables today!! 7 lovingly chopped by myself in my sweet and sour chicken - broccoli, water chestnuts, peppers, carrots, onions, cabbage and mushrooms plus my sweet and sour sauce was made by me without adding any sugar plus my sandwich was made with multiseed bread with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes.

I do take on board your suggestions and when I'm on a healthy regime I only drink water or black coffee. I did have 3 portions of fruit as I had fresh pineapple in my stir fry. You've got me thinking re my milkshakes plus the same goes with smoothies as it alters the GI in food sadly not in a good way. Our bodies are designed to break down the food rather than my trustee Kenwood Chefette. You really do get me thinking as what I see as good there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Wow, that's more veggies than I had today...now that's what I call a well executed "ha" to my face, showing me up and what's more I want to have your sweet and sour chicken! I am seeing you thinking about how our bodies digest food now, since our ancestral mother, Lucy, was born 3 millions years ago, our bodies were designed to digest natural food, not processed, keep tugging on that train of thought. You doing great Diane. I dont have a perfect diet either, none of us do. The main thing is improving our diets. Quality calories quality calories not quantity.

Its a funny coincidence that the movie I just watched was Dallas Buyers Club as a main character preaches the same thing at one point about eating unprocessed food and when that scene came on, I laughed and thought of you guys, lol.

Ah, yes I did go see the movie after all, caught me out there. BUT not at much sacrifice of my scheduled workout. I did an 8km run to the cinema, then there was time for a 10-15mins stretch band workout. Towelled up at a sink, changed and went in the cinema. So I found a way to fulfill my self obligation and my cinema reward :)

That is dedication Mr G!! Full of the cold so of course wanting to eat lol. My main area for improvement is fruit, could eat veggies until they come out my ears but fruit not so much. Making homemade chilli for tonight so 3 whole peppers and onion in that and then kidney beans. The weight watchers pitta are ok.
Porridge made with water, cooled by 50ml semi skimmed milk and a dash of honey is my go to breakfast now. Lunch will be ryvita and something, probably chicken.

As I am gluten free the loaf I use is not multigrain, although I have seen the Warbutons do do such a loaf ...at a price. Most gluten free breads can be quite expensive and some are an acquired taste. In Wales we have free prescriptions and I am allowed to have 14 items per month - the bread and 2 boxes of flour are my allowance. I have just read the ingredients of my bread and there are sugars in it including palm sugar, which I know isn't good. In my defense I have tried some of the other types and have come back to this particular loaf as the taste of the others was so awful.

Nooooo, I didn't mean that it was you in the videos :D , just that they were your choice to use.
Very envious of the running though.
Breakfast tea & cornflakes with a little milk
Going freezer hunting for lunch with water
Ending with beans on toast with water

Have cut down on the tea I drink as well.
Chin up people and stretch

Menu of the day:
Porridge http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =282317874 It is on offer for £1 at Tesco made with semi skimmed milk. (157 calories)
4 sesame seed ryvita with cottage cheese with chives (200 calories)
Sweet potato in its jacket with ratatouille (350 calories)
Lots of water and a few black coffees. I will add on some more calories as too few this even though a lot of food.

Hope you feel better Moggers with your cold. I don't blame you Baty with choosing nice bread plus I think that most bread has sugar in it as you need it to feed the yeast except for the yeast free bread

MrGlass you are more than welcome to have some homemade sweet and sour chicken and I too am impressed with the running o/
