Re: Weight Watchers
It's really hard stone_monkey when you're you have lots of studying to do and I do exactly the same eating rubbish to save time. I've got completely out of this healthy lifestyle as had a challenging few months at work hence I think I got ill due to being stressed hence immune system was down plus the lack of exercise and rubbish food doesn't make you fighting fit.
Well I've just been to watch the Evolution of Dance tonight and if watching ballet dancers doesn't inspire me nothing will. Still have a painful right lung but generally feel well now so time to get moving my body and although not put on weight (I mean not more than I already have) I definitely look chubby but that will be lack of exercise.
Hope you're feeling better Moggers.

Re: Weight Watchers
Does anyone use any weight loss apps to help track how they're doing? There are so many on the Apple store (free and pa*d) to choose from that it's a minefield.

Re: Weight Watchers
Hi-De-Hi campers, I do hope you're all happy campers
I hope your doing better Diane65 and Moggers
I had a cold or something coming on a couple of weeks ago, I was feeling really rough so I dosed twice a day on asda (lemsip) and super strength Vit C and it disappeared - wey hey -
I'm amazed since when I used to smoke it took many weeks to months to shift it
-
My foot has deflated but still very sore. Got 19 days until my 'Perfect 10' in Edinboro - praying that I'm totally healed. Started an alternate 5k one day/10k next day on both the cross trainer and bike at the gym hoping it helps for the run as I can't run yet.
After putting on weight 2 or 3 weeks on the trot. I weighed in today after missing a week and have lost 4lb since my last weigh-in
So, I'm back into a healthy weight range again and although I'm 5lb heavier than was planned for a few weeks ago I am starting to get there again
Study is going slow but 3 days to get my assessment in as I thankfully I got a little extension. Then 3 weeks of coursework and another assessment to go before revision for my main exam then finito until October
I hope everyone else is making progress and has a great weekend and coming week
Ta Ta For Now,
M

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done stone_monkey that is brilliant and sorry that your foot is still painful. Thanks for keeping this thread alive and I will be back on board tomorrow after all my eating this weekend but have done a bit of walking so may balance out a bit. After the FMUKcon weekend we have all said we're all ready to restart our healthy lifestyle.

Re: Weight Watchers
Hey ho,
Hope you had a good weekend Diane65. I'm also planning some effort this week. Healthier food again and lots of exercise. Pumped up my tires on my bike (I never use ) while i was supposed to be studying.Planning on cycling to the gym this morning as it looks dry out
I hope you enjoy France Baty
when you mention goats cheese, do you or anybody know if you can get raw goats milk anywhere
as I have a recipe for wild garlic goats cheese and would like to try making it - sounds really nice.
tomorrow I'm going to pick some weeds for a salad. Sounds nutz but I was doing an intro to surveying wildflowers on Saturday and we made a weed salad - it was very tasty and is supposedly more nutritious than boring lettuces
oops all this food talk ties into 'I'm going too lose a couple of pounds this week' - positive thinking... lol

Re: Weight Watchers
How fabulous Baty and just have a wonderful time. You certainly did a good workout this weekend as using arms and legs whereas I was just legs and mouth (eating and chattingbaty wrote:Sorry Diane65 but I will be letting the side down as I'm off to France - I love the goat cheese from the local area. well any cheese really. I will be taking the walking boot with me as it worked so well on the weekend in Manchester. Maybe only use it for 'shorter' walks though

Stone_monkey I would love to hear what weeds you are eating as I love a bit of greenery and fragrant foods.

Re: Weight Watchers
Beate just told me off for craving carrot cake, reminding me of all my own preaching in the past which got me thinking, I've actually let go a bit, my driving incentives have blurred recently and so I better get in here and join you guys again and refocus.
First step. Plan my week of physical activities and exercises. Set my intermediate goals. Eat strictly healthy balanced foods with plenty of vegetable of all colours. Lots of water. And if I am a good boy, I'll treat myself to carrot cake on Sunday :)
Well done all of you and especially Diane for keeping this thread strong, with encouragement and group determination.
