Re: Holiday Thread
Has anyone been to Potters in Norfolk? Am off there tomorrow for a hen doo. Not bad for the price £199 for 2 nights and that includes most activities, dinner on Friday, breakfast/lunch/dinner Saturday and breakfast/lunch on Sunday.
I've heard all good things, just wondered if anyone else has been there.
Off to Lanzarote on Tuesay too....

I've been to Tenerife. What a fantastic place!
"Loro Parque" is just amazing.
Haven't been to "Siam Park" but definitely will go next time.

You can always upload them on Photobucket, flikr or something and put the links here.
I took approximately 1,300 pictures when I went Thailand earlier on this year but have only managed to upload about 110 for viewing.

Re: Holiday Thread
Hi,
First thing: never b*y any trip or tour at your hotel or from your rep (even if they say it's cheaper with them - because it isn't).
For example: to rent a car for 3 days through hotel €78 and down town from some "Rent a car" €56!!
Day out to La Gomera though rep €83.50 and from some tourist office €64!!
Where to go?:
1. The National Park of "Las Canadas" with mount Teide(3.717m) - this is one day trip. Beautiful sights one can admire. You can get the by cable-car or walk
2. "Loro Parque" in Puerto de la Cruz (where I stayed). Amazing park! You have to go there!!! Ticket €31 if you b*y it from some tourist office (you can avoid big queue) and €33 in the park. I've spent there 6 hours but I saw all the shows (orcas, dolphins, seals, parrots).
3. Masca - Fantastic trip but a bit tiring
This is one day trip. You are going to Masca. On the way there you have to stop on "Tabaibapass" -there is beautiful view from this place - you can see whole "La Gomera" on one side and "La Palma" on another side. From Masca you have 3 hours walk through extraordinary valley to the seaside. You can go for a boat trip from there. You'll need whole day for this trip.
4."Icod de los Vinos"- you can see there"Draco" tree which is between 500 and 3000 years old. La Orotava - another very nice town and Garachico destroyed by the volcanic eruption.
5.Teno, the westernmost point in the island. It's absolutely amazing there! Beautiful views, fantastic, crystal clean and so warm ocean with so colourful fish (I was snorkelling there). Unfortunately the road there is closed for public so if you decide to go there you have to break the law
It is worth thou! And believe me I was not the only one who went there
I think that's enough for now.
Enjoy your trip and don't be afraid of black beaches. They are cool!!
