A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

the david phelps thing looked a complete turn off for me when I saw the advert, I don't really love gospel music. But he also does Les Mis covers and his voice is more operatic than gospel judging from youtube. Maybe I'll go.

I had a look on Youtube, and I now fear the performance is going to be very religious, so I'm probably going to swerve it. He has a good voice, but I'm not a churchgoer. Shame it's on a Tuesday, I have a friend who would probably quite like it.raj101 wrote:the david phelps thing looked a complete turn off for me when I saw the advert, I don't really love gospel music. r u sure its going to be so Godly? Only a small sample of his stuff truly sounds gospel.
'sounds gospel' - that sounds wrong lol. time to google david phelps..... so hes classed as a 'christian and gospel singer'. How does one 'become' a Xstian singer? Can you be one if you aren't a Xstian, I wonder? cor hes done a lot of albums. Are they all about Jesus? ok maybe I will give it a miss.

I haven't got sound on my work PC.
The tickets sell for between £10 and £25 on the O2 website (unless you want a meet and greet then it's £80).

Yeah but that's the IndigO2 we are talking about not the big arena, the prices there are never over the top. I saw a great Meat Loaf concert there once so might give it a whirl.
