There are whole David Phelps concerts on youtube. I've listened to a bit of it now and I am staying home.

The theater seat filling service Play By Play is running a Family&Friends promotion until 15 July - if an existing member refers someone new, both the new and existing member get an extra free month added to their annual membership, let me know if anyone is interested! Annual membership fee is £75.

Shasha that sounds interesting, never heard of play by play. The annual fee sounds a bit hefty but I guess it is worthwhile if you can get a pair of tickets at least once a month, especially if they often give tickets for decent seats. What kind of shows have you managed to see and how often?

Showfilmfirst has just sent email saying the following=
We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, Friday's performance of One Night in Vegas at Fairfield Halls has been CANCELLED.
We will inform you if this is rescheduled, apologies for inconvenience.
One night in Vegas Fairfield halls Croydon Friday 12th July. Was so looking forward too the show.

I have phoned Fairfield halls too find out about show beening cancelled and why. They are giving refunds for tickets purchased. But think the show has been cancelled due too poor ticket sales.

He was great. Given the SFF tickets were free, the woman in the book office was bit stunned when man in front of me was questioning her abt whether the seats were good.

He was excellent and what an exceptional band !!! We went initially to our seats BLOCK 420 Level 4 but my partner couldnt stand the height so we went to the information desk and they changed our seats to Level 1 BLOCK 105. Felt privileged to see the legend and I know he added some songs into his normal set - I'd Rather Go Blind, Handbags and Gladrags, Hot Legs and the acoustic section were standouts and the new tracks stood up well !! His daughter Ruby sang a track and his youngest son came on and "danced" !!

We were in Block 415 Level 4 but our row G came with a balustrade and no one in front so we felt totally secure and safe there - great seats. Loved that he sang The Killing of Georgie. It really was a great evening.

I wished I'd known you could do that, I was a bit woozy too. I could see empty seats lower down, but didn't want to go all the way down there to be refused. I thought I'd try during the break, but there was no break!

Seeing Lee Rigby's photo brought a tear to my eye.

Feeling quite tired today and my friend with two small children is about to turn up in an hour...
