He was excellent and what an exceptional band !!! We went initially to our seats BLOCK 420 Level 4 but my partner couldnt stand the height so we went to the information desk and they changed our seats to Level 1 BLOCK 105.
I wished I'd known you could do that, I was a bit woozy too. I could see empty seats lower down, but didn't want to go all the way down there to be refused. I thought I'd try during the break, but there was no break!

Seeing Lee Rigby's photo brought a tear to my eye.

Feeling quite tired today and my friend with two small children is about to turn up in an hour...
This is the 2nd time I managed to swap. Went to Jesus Christ Superstar last year. If any other shows at the O2 come up and you have Level 4 and the height is a problem if you go to the Information desk on Level 4 about half hour / 45 minutes before the show they may have seats at the lower level

We did the same thing - I tend to freak out on Level 4 as it's so high and steep (yeah I know I'm a wuss), and we were in the centre block at the very back, so I exchanged the tickets for Level 1 to the right hand of the stage. We were row V but I really didn't mind as at least it feels safer there and you're not afraid to stand up and dance! :D

What a shame some people dont want to keep the ultimate souvenir from a Rod Stewart concert

Never tried swapping seats - useful to know, because OH isn't very good with heights.

I must have missed the Hard Rock Calling offer despite being a fully p**d and signed up SFF.
However, off to Hyde Park BST today to see Elvis Costello and Ray Davies (free Friday !!)

It wasn't SFF, it was like Muse and through Ticketmaster. And only
For Kasabian and not for Bruce.

Ah Ok. Lets hope tickets become available for the weekend.....!!!
Shame the Rolling Stones are so popular...! I would be a happy man to see Rod Stewart, Ray Davies and The Stones in one week !

Beate wrote:We were in Block 415 Level 4 but our row G came with a balustrade and no one in front so we felt totally secure and safe there - great seats. Loved that he sang The Killing of Georgie. It really was a great evening.
I saw your photo on the red carpet backstage, but you must have just left, I was about two photos behind you, we had just been to have a mini massage and a mini make-over, so decided to have another photo done with our faces made up. There were hardly any queues when we arrived around 6.40pm and we were done by 7.10pm and we hang around in the bar until the first act. Our seats were block 415 Level 4 too but Row H, seats 709/10 and surprisingly did not feel high up. Beate, you must have been very close to us! I did text you.

A really enjoyable evening of his greatest hits. Luckily, my friend who is VIP could not go with her sister, and her sister, who is also my friend, took me instead! So I treated her to Sky backstage, which she loved. ;)
