Good morning everyone and of course the right honourable Lord Preston ;)

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with raspberries and a banana (even got the gentleman who is sorting out my garage roof having one and he likes it o/ - so spreading the healthy vibe)

Good morning everyone. I'm not up yet - just enjoying having a nice lazy lie in this morning. I can hear the downstairs staff rattling around with their various tasks :p

I'm quite impressed with myself at the minute as I'm still being remarkably good overall dietwise (apart obviously from the chocs incident). I must say that I'm really feeling all the better for it. My back is mostly free of pain, and I think the exercise (gardening and walks) that I've been doing recently is helping with this. I actually feel like the weight is dropping off me at the moment, my belt is fastening on the next notch in, Yay!. I'm hoping for another good weighday result tomorrow. Two more pounds lost would be perfect.

I'm really enjoying my daily salads at the moment. I thought I might be bored with them by now but I'm not. There's something fantastic about the crunch of clean tasting raw salad vegetables. Long may it last - with a bit of luck, they will be my passport to a new slimmer, healthier me.

Today's Menu

Breakfast: 40 gm Porridge with skimmed milk and 50 gm freshly picked blackberries.

Lunch: Big crunchy salad with tuna

Evening Meal: Spag Bol.

Be good everyone keep those posts acoming ;) Good luck to Diane, ClareBarr and anyone else who has a weighday coming up tomorrow. :cross:

Wow Lord Preston you are certainly in the zone. I fear the worse for myself in the morning  .

I have had the lovely company of Canadian_Turtle this weekend and hopefully with all the sightseeing we have been doing I might have burned off my Thai green curry with steamed rice and naan. Then I had a macaroon (thanks to Canadian_Turtle) and an Eccles cake (a Manchester delicacy) when we got home joined by akh43. We met at 2pm and did all the sights of the city centre on foot followed by a drive to Salford Quays then a walk around the Lowry (wandering around the exhibitions) then a walk around Media city followed by a trip to the Trafford centre and then the chill factor and then collapsed in a heap at midnight so did plenty of exercise.

This morning I had eggs Benedict here http://www.richmondtearooms.com/ which was just divine and then Yogi forced me to eat his Manchester tart (I know he comes across as lovely but I felt intimidated by him so had no choice but to eat it ;) ) then we did a very brisk walk with yogi and his OH to Manchester museum which is a good mile away so hopefully there and back burnt off some of it before Canadian_Turtle got his train back at 1pm.

Unfortunately for this thread (secretly I'm delighted) Canadian_Turtle b*ght me some delicious Dutch butter biscuits and some divine chocolate tulips and then my neighbour turned up with a big tub of Roses for me as I have been cat sitting this weekend (I did pop back in between sight seeing to feed them and bring them in (just in case anyone is contacting the RSPCA).

Hopefully all the walking will even out my indiscretions :cross: Off to bed now as up bright and early for work. Good luck in the morning everyone o/

Hi all,
I've been feeling quite down the past few days, hence no posts. So I've just been reading the last few pages of this thread to catch up on what I've missed, & it's cheered me up :) weigh in day is tomorrow, am hoping I've maintained or maybe lost 1lb, but I've been eating quite a few unhealthy snacks recently so we'll see! x

So sorry to hear that you have been feeling down and sending you my love.

I have lost 1lb this week which I'm delighted with as not been very good. I will post my menu later as need to get up and make time for breakfast. Good luck everyone.

Yay, WooHoo :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Oh, that's great news Diane . Very well done!

Also, it was great reading about your fab sounding weekend around the Manchester sights. I was very envious, especially of your trip to the Lowry (which I remember from FMUK Com 2014) and those delicious sounding eggs benedict at the fantastic looking Richmond Tea Rooms.

I smiled when I read about all those lovely chocs that you have been given. You absolutely deserve them, but I can imagine the unbearable temptation that they will cause ;) You'll have to come up with some sort of strategy so that you can reward yourself with them gradually, without going overboard. Ha Ha, Good luck with that :D

I'm pleased to say that I've lost another 3 pounds this week. It's all down to the gardening that I've been doing, and the salad I've been eating. Both me and the hedge are looking thinner and trimmer. And......I've saved a lot of hegemony by doing it myself ;)

Today's Menu - same old same old....... Porridge and blackberries/ Salad/ homemade roasted butternut squash soup and salmon and noodles.

Hope everyone has a great day whatever you are doing. Me? I'm off to the tip with garden rubbish after I've had some breakfast, then I'll be doing a spot of weeding. :D

Well done Preston1990 & Diane65 for your weight loss today. Reading about all your activities over the weekend tires me out just reading it :) what fab exercise you've both done.

Not been up long, just weighed myself & I've managed to maintain...no loss, but no gain either so I'm fairly pleased with that. It's very difficult to diet when my body clock is up the spout! Porridge with banana & a teaspoon of honey in a mo with a cuppa, & dinner tonight will be my boyfriend's lovely healthy chilli with rice (I only put a scoop or 2 of it on the side of the plate, then the rest of the plate is lots of salad). Lots of water too today, & my hot water/lemon/lime/mint/honey drink tonight.

Have a good day everyone :)
