This Wednesday evening, the faded granduer of RETZ's The Claribel, a desolate hotel lobby will play host to Stanley Kubrick's masterwork, The Shining. Not for the faint hearted our immersive installation will echo with the sound of manic typing and the odd scream. Come along from 7pm on Wednesday. Tickets free.

Trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5glyIq_EeEM&safe=active

If someone wants to pop this into miscellaneous films too, that's fine.

Look Left Look Right bring their latest award winning production You Once Said Yes that places the audience at the centre of the action.
Starting at the Roundhouse and weaving through the hidden alleys of Camden, participants are requested to leave their possessions and preconceptions behind as they are guided through a series of encounters. Your interactions with the people you meet will determine the path you take in this unique one-on-one experience. There are no spectators in this show, for this is your story and these characters know, and are expecting you. A cast of compelling characters and thrilling stories await anyone willing to utter the magic words Yes.
Written by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm and Katie Lyons.
“A show that invites you to run with an unfolding series of one-on-one encounters across the city…it’s magical and unforgettable.” Telegraph*****
“Not since Fiona Templeton's You, the City more than 20 years ago, has a show used a city as a backdrop quite so effectively as this. Exploring the nature of choice and the way we say yes or no to things without really thinking through the consequences.” Guardian ****
“Tumbling down a rabbit hole of wonder and surprise, I bounced from encounter to encounter with a host of characters and places. Every day, this lovely show reminds us, is a series of infinite possibilities, to which we just have to remain open.” Evening Standard ****
Tickets: £20
Show starts every 10 minutes with a running time of 90 minutes.

you’ll see [me sailing in antarctica]
by non zero one
a co-production with the National Theatre

You're sat around a large table, and you're closer to the sky than normal. Here is a space for you to picture things.

you'll see [me sailing in antarctica] explores the way we look and the way we see. Visions past, present and future are brought to the table - some things could never live up to our imagination, and some are better than we could ever believe. Between you and the others here, you've seen so many things, and you'll see so many more. But can anyone ever see the way you do?

Young London-based Defibrillator Theatre Company take over three suites across three floors of the Grange Holborn Hotel in central London to perform three Tennessee Williams plays – Green Eyes, The Travelling Companion and Sunburst that have previously been unproduced in the U.K. Presented under the umbrella title The Hotel Plays, it runs through to October 27th.

Green Eyes, written in 1970 but unpublished for almost 40 years, will be directed by Defibrillator's artistic director, James Hillier. This lost thriller graphically reveals the impact of war through the sexual fantasies of a newlywed couple in New Orleans, transforming a honeymoon suite into a battleground where desire and violence become blurred and indistinguishable.

In Sunburst, directed by Robert Hastie, a retired actress Miss Sails, falls hostage to two young men scheming to steal her priceless sunburst diamond. But Miss Sails is no Southern Belle.

In The Travelling Companion, directed by Anthony Banks, an inexperienced hustler and an insecure older writer negotiate their relationship together in a hotel room. But who really needs who? Will either of them ever truly find the companionship that they so desperately seek?

The Hotel Plays consists of four performances a night of the complete cycle of three plays with a running time of 90 mins per cycle. Performances start 6.30pm | 7pm | 8pm | 8.30pm excluding Sundays.

Ticket Price: £20
