Re: Job help
Anyone contemplating a job in ASDA give yourself over an hour for the mammoth multi sectional application form. Doesn't even give a reference number at the end so not even sure its been submitted.......Draining

Re: Job help
You should receive an email regarding the reference number for the application, I got one for each application I put through, youll be pleased to know that you only have to do the massive test thing once, it saves your answers(atleast mine did)

Re: Job help
Aruif the Move On Adult numeracy practice papers might be helpful for revising, they can all be done online (you'll need to scroll down the page a bit) I just took it as part of the family learning we do with the kids at school - didn't know I had to take the test when I first signed up!
The questions/qualification is equivalent to a higher grade GCSE so imagine it will be similar stuff as to what you'll have to answer, the practice papers are multiple choice and you get a set time to complete them, it will then give you the result at the end and if you got a question wrong it gives you a quite detailed breakdown of how to get to the correct answer.

Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!
Re: Job help
thanks, but in all honesty i don't want to do it. i can't cope with the stress of even thinking of revising let alone actually doing the revising and sitting the exams. it makes me feel physically sick. :/ i'm doing my IT qualification still though (even though i forgot about it last week) i'll take a test in that tomorrow, because it doesn't stress me out.
