Went to Xscape in Milton Keynes to see this film tonight, and the Projectionist could not get the film to show, ...so after about 30 minutes...we were ushered out and given a ticket to see a 2D film at a later date.

Shame really as many people were looking forward to viewing the film.

Saw this at a not so full Glasgow. We almost had two very young teenagers in the screening right at the start but the usher spoke to the father in the group. Not sure if they accidently walked in or the usher at the front just let them in.

Not sure what to make of it, what is real and what is storytelling. Cooper was superb in the two roles. Definitely different from your normal summer movie. It is certainly not the type of film I would normally go and see so it was better than I expected. 6/10

I was most surprised with this film. I purposely avoided reading the thread beforehand to avoid seeing any spoilers etc. Not only was I surprised afterwards to discover the main character is Dominic Cooper, but that he was also the other main character too! I thought they looked similar, but not the same. The scenes where "both" are together were flawless.
The genuine historical scenes seemed very washed out and faded. I presume that was intentional but it made it look very old. It wasn't that long ago.
Quite a few very realistic gory scenes which I really enjoyed. Mmmmm. Entrails? Lol.

I did enjoy the story and knowing the eventual outcome didn't remove from any of the suspence.
A good thriller.

What a shame it was spoiled in Edinburgh tonight by two separate parties that thought it was acceptable to talk (not even whisper) throughout the movie.

Saw this in Glasgow tonight. What a powerful film! The world thought Saddam was mad but his son was 100 times madder! Latif's story is very moving and the end credits update the story. Acting was superb,

I've always regarded Dominic Cooper as a bit "fluffy" when it come sto his choice of acting roles. This film proves me totally wrong. He can act and he acted his soks off in this film as playing both roles he was in practically every scene. He did a great job of being totally convincing in both roles so we knew which one he was.

I can't believe it was 20 years ago since the first Gulf War so the BBC stuff was right to be somewhat faded in.

Not a pleasant film by any means but it's not meant to be, and nor was it the gore fest I imagined it might be. Even the grannies stayed until the end.

An excellent drama 8/10

Unless you are 70ish with white hair and about 5'1" then no! The ladies in question looked like my Granny. I wasn't convinced they'd stay. They seemed more Telegraph readers than gore watchers - but it's always the quiet ones you need to watch!

Wow! Doesn't seem like that long ago. Time flies. Do you think it was faded intentionally or has it just not aged very well in 20 years? It just looked old. Maybe it was to differentiate it from the actual movie footage.
