Re: The Hunger Games
JC certainly had its moments. they were, by definition, only moments. Although perhaps I should see the whole thing before I pass judgement, not sure I would want to though given the first half hour.
thanks for that supes.superhero wrote:The buzz is good so far, should hear more tonight after a press screening.

Just realised that the Premiere will take place in the Arena and not at Cineworld O2! Not sure it's a good idea!

Re: The Hunger Games
WTF? A premiere in an arena? Who's brilliant idea was that?
The sound quality is not going to be good, and this is being released in IMAX.

Re: The Hunger Games
Really? That's utter shit! Are you sure that's the only place in the O2 they're screening it today? Wait, the arena seats thousands of people, how many free tickets did superhero have??Celini wrote:Just realised that the Premiere will take place in the Arena and not at Cineworld O2! Re: The Hunger Games
It's weird though because they are usually calling it the "Cineworld O2 arena". I always thought the arena is an independent concert venue and has nothing whatsoever to do with the Cineworld cinema that happens to be in the same complex. The arena is HUGE and it wouldn't really make much sense. Maybe people are just mislabelling it?

Re: The Hunger Games
If they specifically mention Cineworld in the same sentence it's not the concert arena (it really wouldn't make sense I just saw it seats 20,000 people!). They probably mean red carpet etc. takes place in the Cineworld "Arena" ie open space outside of the screening rooms downstairs, and the movie will be screened in all the screening rooms (or several of them at least)Beate wrote:It's weird though because they are usually calling it the "Cineworld O2 arena". Re: The Hunger Games
Mark Boardman calls it the Cineworld O2 Arena. He's that guy with the website about film premieres: http://www.markmeets.com
According to him the Street Dance 2 Premiere is also going to be held at the O2 Arena London. No way that isn't Cineworld.
