Treating acne with toothpaste: Apply a small amount of toothpaste on a new soft toothbrush. Wet both the toothbrush and the area with blackheads. Scrub the area gently with the toothbrush for a specific amount of time everyday. While scrubbing the area with your toothbrush, remember to stay away from the eyes, since the methanol vapors from the toothpaste can irritate your eyes. Sterilize the toothbrush with boiling water after doing the above steps.

Terrific eye cream: Before bed apply unscented castor oil around your eyes. Plastic surgeons use this on their patients after surgery!

Easy to peel oranges: Soak the oranges in boiling water for five minutes then peel as usual. As a bonus, the "white" part of the peel will come off along with the peel.

Hope these help! More handy tips and tricks soon :)

moviemannn wrote:Storing celery in the fridge: If you wrap your celery in tin foil before placing it in the fridge it will last for weeks, and it will still be fresh and crisp when you pull it out! This also works for stored broccoli for 7 weeks wrapped in tin foil, and heads of lettuce for at least 6 weeks!
You can freeze pineapple in slices. Twist the top off then slice it keeping the rind on and core in, then store the slices individually in freezer bags. I've tried it and its brilliant plus saves having pineapple for 3 days on the run.

Dry freezing herbs. Wash and dry them, place them on a baking tray in a single layer put in the freezer overnight then put then in a freezer bag so you have fresh herbs to hand at a moments notice. I do this and works brilliantly for cooking but not so good in salad.

Loving your tips moviemann o/

Whenever you go abroad take a 4 way adaptor with you (or a bigger one if you like) so you only need one plug adaptor for that country. OH thought I was a genius when we went on our first away trip together. In fact I take one away with me anytime I go away even in the UK as you don't know how many plugs there are going to be.

Get rid of spiders: Use some tomato leaves because spiders hate them. Tomato leaves dry quickly so you should have a stock of them and renew them regularly.

Beautiful lips: All you need to do is do a lip scrub every fortnight with some coffee grains. Don't rub too hard though.

Facial mask with vanilla yogurt: Mix vanilla yogurt and a little bit of granola together and spread it on your face. Put cucumbers on your eyes too. Do this twice a week and your face will have a beautiful glow.... and taste!
