(I can't believe only eumenides mentioned the fantastic Allison Janney!)
I mentioned on page 1 that I thought Alison's Janney's "Press my laundry" quote was terrific. I think she is pretty terrific too so I am in good company with you and eumenides.

Allison Janney always shines so it is a given that she will do well whereas I was pleasantly surprised by how much Sam Rockwell stole the show.

her relationship with her son was simply priceless.

@funthing: really? In my book Rockwell can't do no wrong so I was not expecting anything less from me :)

I agree: Alison Janney is always worth watching whereas Sam Rockwell wasn't really on my radar but made a huge impression on me here. I wonder how many actors were considered for the part and how it would have worked with someone else.

I loved this film. It went so quickly as I was so engaged in the film. Brilliant cast, great script and overall shot very well.

Very enjoyable and wouldn't say this was just for kids/teens. Great for adults too.

Saw this yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.

It did start off slow but then I got into it.

Great to see Steve Carell play a bad guy for a change and it suited him. Funny and heartwarming.

This is on Film 4 right now and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying this film. So many recognisable faces in it with a wonderful script, pace and laughter.
