Perhaps because one of the terms and conditions is "Not for resale."

Seriously????? I mean seriously??? Won? Were there any competitions for this? I haven't checked the board lately so wouldn't know. Or was this free through Time Out? Or does one classify winning as simplying entering a code and clicking on "two" as the number of tickets. I guess for some, doing so is a competition.

I can't believe the guy said he could not make the screening that he had won in a competition yet could meet you tuesday ( which is the day of the screening) to receive the cash payment.

To be fair, it is probably not possible to return these tickets if you find you do not want them.
I won some theatre tickets with the Standard once but ended up not going because I could not get hold of anyone in their promotions department (despite many e-mails and phone calls) to ask if I could arrange disabled access for my OH. Annoyingly, the theatre had said this would be possible, but only if the Standard arranged it!

It seems a lot of messing around for the seller for the sake of 9 quid - placing an advert, taking phone calls, meeting up with strangers. If I were him and I genuinely couldn't make it I would much rather just give the ticket away to someone I knew. It never ceases to amaze me how stingy some people can be.

I also won 2 tickets to Seraphine at Haymarket in the Evening Standard competition and have just given them away to a FMUKer as I already had tickets for this at Panton St. As I've been checked for ID at Panton St figured it would be better to give the others away as they don't check. That is the beauty of FMUK as you can often find a home for tickets you can't use--and maybe we're just a nice lot of folks and don't cash in on our good fortune in free tickets. I know I'm always been very grateful when I'm given tickets on the Wanted board and when I give tickets the recipients are always appreciative.

Face value at £12.00?????

Does she have issues understanding what "free" means? Funny... she actually uses the word in her advert.

You can report ebay listings but I have no idea what category to put it under when trying to report it!...so many categories. I am sure all these free tickets say they are not for resale on them?

Yeh they all do. I've reported several times in the past....nothing comes of it so a complete waste of time IMO. So I won't bother. I can't remember what I put it under... Something within the similarities of "can't be sold/forbidden" etc.
