Here comes another downfall of snow. It has been predicted that we are going to get a lot, and my husband has phoned to say they are staggering the departure of staff from his work - some of whom had taken 2 hours to get in this morning. Needless to say, we are not going to see Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll at the MetroCentre. So I look forward to reading your comments later on. Good luck to those of you who are venturing out tonight. It's a shame that so many of the current previews are/were so close to the opening date, so there is no time for SFF/TT/etc to arrange more dates. Both "It's Complicated" and "Sex (etc)" open this Friday, so no chance now. When you think how far in advance the "Harry Brown" previews started (not to mention how many there were!), it's quite a contrast. But I suppose starting any earlier would have meant last week, which was still part of the Xmas/New Year holiday for some people, so cinemas probably wouldn't have wanted to lose out on p*ying customers.
