We live close by and we struggled to get home!! :giggle: Great atmosphere but if I hadn't already had a few (hic) I wouldn't have been a happy bunny out there. I would have been far happier, cuddled up on the sofa, nibbling satay, samosas & mini quiches (thanks to mr tesco's reduced party food ;) ) and swigging the bacardi breezers......which is what we ended up doing 2 hours later  when we finally got indoors!! Which explains why I've woken up at lunchtime. Bloody hell, I'm such a complainer!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!

My sentiments entirely - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Preferred cinemas:
Central London and North London as far north as the Hampstead Everyman including Picturehouse Hackney/Notting Hill Gate - but not Wood Green and North Finchley as they are just a bit too far.

Happy New Year everyone. Wishing you a happy, healthy, fun-filled and film-filled year.
We had a lovely cosy dinner at our house with some friends (I was running about like a lunatic trying to shop, prepare and cook a three course meal!)
It was then lovely to join the crowd at the top of Primrose Hill for midnight and see the fireworks over London...then be able to walk home again.
Hope there weren't too many sore heads today!

Big HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to.

May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions!

My New Year's Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.
Happy New Year everybody! Hope it's a good one X
