I remember watching this show with my family growing up (showing my age here!). He had 'The Good Life' and got me into gardening.

    Last I saw him was a great cameo in Extras. I remembered Briers very well on The Good Life, which my mum used to watch when I was little but I only appreciated the series on later re-runs, a sweet old fashioned vintage British comedy with super actors including Briers, Penelope Kieth, Felicity Kendal and Paul Eddington. But for some reason I most fondly remember him as the voice of one of the main rabbits in Watership Down. RIP.
