Got row L in the stalls for I Can't Sing, looks as if you could be anywhere in the theatre.

Yes, I got very goods seats, H in the stalls. I saw Sister Act in Upper Circle, and it was fine, good view, although very high up.

I went to I Can't Sing last night, was not really sure what to expect, but I have to say it is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen!

In fact I had my mum & my children with me and we all absolutely loved it, there were quite a few jokes which were a bit inappropriate for the kids, but I think for the most part these went straight over their heads and there was still enough to keep them thoroughly entertained and giggling away, so much so they would love to see it again.

Although its based on the X Factor you would really not need to be a fan or even have watched it to enjoy the show, Cynthia Erivo (Chenise) has an amazing voice and Charlie Baker (Hunchback) also gave another stand out performance, although the entire cast were pretty fantastic.

Was lovely to see PxC and mandmc1 too!

Thanks for the glowing review Rainey, you've made me more excited to see it tonight! Apparently they reworked the first act during the weekend and the second act today during the day so I'm very curious to see what shape it'll be in and how long it'll be (especially the interval).

Last night I saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and (surprisingly) I was very disappointed by the vocals of the male leads (though Freddy sometimes sounded like he could sing well, if he didn't put on the Freddy voice while singing) + the songs weren't very impressive/memorable anyway. Another thing that really put me off was that in sets, costumes and (most of the) music style this had a lot of old-school charm, yet then they'd throw the audience off with modern references to the Bush family and Obama. We didn't see any modern technology or outfits on stage (save a pair of Chuck Taylors) so this didn't work for me and I would've preferred they kept it old-fashioned. Having said that, despite its flaws I had a thoroughly good time watching the show. It was a lot of fun (I laughed. A lot) and the choreography and sets (as mentioned before) looked very slick.

I wonder what they've changed, I did prefer the first half to the second. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

With the interval last night they were allowing people to go out and come back in, so we popped into Costa Coffee next door.

Lovely to see so many FMUKers last night at I Can't Sing, ritamistry, cliveas, jeanelle, valda and rainey.

It was good to see Harry Hill introducing the show. He was funny too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, the amazing set, the cheesy humour, the songs, it was fun, energetic and vibrant! The dog was so funny and so was Simon. We were all laughing so much, although the first act was so much better than the second. Chenise had such a beautiful voice. The twist at the end was hilarious.

We also got a goody bag to take home and a complimentary programme, and a smile on our faces.
