Yes, I thought he was great! He was hilarious!

I agree with the swearing too, if you are taking children, they should warn you!

enjoyed it too, excellent musical, which might threaten my top ten musicals list.

Not only well put together, but for a rightful cause too (womens rights, still a problem today!). The lady who played Barbara Castle was awesome, better than Miranda!

Minor niggle - Farteton wasn't nearly as suited as Hawkins was in this role and her singing was often eclipsed by the other actors. is a bit weird when she stares out at the audience though - brown eyed people look like they are staring right at YOU when they look in your direction. Having a movie star stare at you is a bit freaky, I had the same unsettling feeling with "Varys" from Game of Thrones when he stared right at me in a play I saw last year.

Noteworthy that the role of a seemingly smaller name (Hawkins) is replaced on the (smaller) stage by someone with a bigger name. Felt odd. But its all good, in fact its a boon having movie stars trot their stuff for free in front of you!
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I'm afraid it won't threaten any top ten list of mine, in fact it was my third best musical of the week. However I did actually think it was very good (I've been very lucky this week) and much better than I was expecting based on the reviews.

Sophie Isaacs - she certainly can and I was also very impressed with the voice of Adrian der Gregorian (Eddie).

The theatre probably took away SFF's allocation as has been the case in the past.

Didn't they do that with Rock of Ages? And people still turned up and got in anyway?
