I'll keep you company on the naughty step, ClareBarr. ;) Also had a rough few weeks (work has been horrendous), but thankfully the worst is over and I need to get a grip on the comfort eating. Have things improved for you, or are you still having a hard time?

And I think Preston's suggestion of kedgeree is excellent too, Sunny Saver. You can make it in advance and heat up a portion each morning.

I am with you girls on the off the wagon  So sorry to hear that you are having rough weeks as it is so tough to try and eat sensibly when you are not too good or mad busy. I have had a challenging week and been living on Belvita and bananas - not sure which is worse  I thought that it was going to be a busy week with work alone (I had organised healthy meals for fitting in with work) but added to that my Mum hasn't been too good and sadly her cat suddenly took very ill and I had to do the dreaded trip with her on Wednesday evening - I was meant to be the support but just cried so I was totally a waste of space. It was beyond sad and although I am generally quite resilient with animals I just go to pieces :tears:

I will try to do better over the weekend as I keep on coming up with excuses - doing a bit of work in the morning, then having new tyres fitted plus a trip to the bank but should be clear by 1pm :D Next week I am not doing mad hours so will be able to fit in exercise plus time to eat.

Preston1990 you are a star o/

Wotcha Weight Wotchas o/

I had a great day today for a number of reasons:

a) I've lost 3 pounds over the last week. _0^

b) I b*ght a new pair of jeans that are the smallest waist size that I've ever worn since (I think) in my late twenties. They are a perfect fit and 6 inches smaller 8O than I was wearing last year. I'm ridiculously happy - all that uncoordinated Zumba-ing may look atrocious but it seems to be p*ying off dietwise. o/

c) I thought I was having serious problems with the sight in my left eye which over the last couple of months had been steadily getting more blurred. Having had detached retinas in both of my eyes and a cataract operation on my right eye in the recent past I was delighted to find following a visit to the Eye Clinic today that the problem can be resolved by a simple change to the power of the contact lense I wear in that eye. "Relieved" is not the word. :D

d) During my "heart stress test" today (Yes, I know  I'm not in the best of condition) I was given a Mars bar and a packet of Mini Cheddars and told to eat them. Well  who am I to ignore medical advice o/ They were delicious  ;)

Spinning, Zumba and Pilates classes for me tomorrow - those should help burn those little indiscretions off nicely. ;)

So very sorry to hear the sad news about your Mum's cat, Diane. I'm sure that your Mum appreciated your support and you just being there with her will have helped her enormously :bighug:

Try and be good everyone :D
