I am with you all on not sharing multipacks

Sorry to hear that ejwrank and asamaic are having problems with their legs.

Preston1990 you are doing amazing exercise wise. We will get there together sharing recipes.

I got stuck at work busy mopping out the floods on Tuesday so didn't eat and dinner and last night stuck in traffic so ate biscuits at my meeting as never made it home after work. Tonight I have finally made my tomato and basil soup which I am eating as we speak and I have made enough to freeze. I have also made meatballs with a tomato and basil sauce for tomorrow evening so getting back into meal planning (plus been given even more tomatoes so need to use them).

Thanks to Yinster for your encouragement o/

I won't worry too much about not having an exercise regime if you can't do one. Focus on good nutritional value in your intake of food and when you are well enough then add in some exercise in whatever form you like.

As for "bad" foods then simply don't b*y any. If it is not in the house then you can't eat it. Personally I don't deny myself of anything I would like to eat. I just don't have it as often. The way for me is if I didn't then I tend to carve for it so why do that to myself. Each to their own.

I have a fitbit they are a good aid. Make sure you keep it charged up. There's nothing more annoying than walking around alll day and finding out the battery is dead. Also, I lost so many, I b*ght a different strap from Amazon, more like a watch strap. I also cut a small hole in a scrunchy and put the fitbit in there o/

You must have a different model to me, mine doesn't have a replaceable strap - I have the Charge HR. Really like the scrunchy idea, that's a really good way of "hiding" it!

I'm back to using MFP. It's so much much better than the native Fitbit food diary. o/

50 healthy meals you can make in 20 minutes. However if you take more than 20 minutes then that's ok too

I'm not sure how healthy some of them are, but I quite like the look of a lot of those recipes. o/

Well, I did it. First parkrun since May and the dreaded injury. I managed to run 16 minutes non-stop before the pain kicked in and I had to start alternating walking and running. I would have liked to run the whole thing, but I could hear my physio's words "as soon as it starts to hurt you must stop immediately and walk instead". I was good and actually followed her advice.

It was a truly dreadful run but I made it to the end somehow (5 minutes slower than my "normal" time) and my ankle is only a little bit swollen; it hasn't ballooned to the size of a small city so I'm quite heartened by the progress.

It's also nice starting the day with a massive calorie deficit. o/

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend. o/

What a fabulous start to your day asamaic. Sorry about your ankle.

I have been given tons more tomatoes this morning so will be making yet moire tomato sauces plus I am getting lots of pears later so if anyone has any healthy pear recipes it would be much appreciated. Just deciding on today's meals - definitely poached figs with cinnamon and nutmeg with natural yogurt for dessert (less than 45 calories for the 2 figs if I don't add honey or sugar plus on offer in Tesco 4 for a pound) plus so simple and quick to make.

Got lots of fruit in and just drinking mint water which is lovely and free with mint from my trug. Have a fun and healthy day everyone

Well, I have done so little walking the day after the big run that my Fitbit adjustment for the day stands at zero calories. :p Met some friends for dinner and had a salad, which took some willpower.

Am going out for dinner with my piggiest of piggy friends tomorrow (he's actually skinny but doesn't half eat - we always go for the full 3 courses) so I've b*ght a low calorie salad (62 calories!) and some fruit (130 calories) for a very mean lunch that will just about see me through to the 3-course blow out in the evening. If I snack on the fruit bowl throughout the afternoon, I should be ok energy-wise until dinner (best estimate 1,070 calories). Will bring a bag of cookies (124 calories) in case I need the extra boost.

It really is amazing how much better choices you make when you're counting the numbers!

Wotcha fellow Weightwatchers, supporters and interested bystanders o/

Well... yesterday was my weighday, but once again I have to report no loss and no gain. I have maintained. ;)

I've done a boatload of fitness classes every day last week, but I've also made some bad food choices so it's a fair result all in all :wall:

My yin (think diet) and yang (think exercise) are perfectly counterbalanced and so are cancelling each other out. I need to develop an anti gluttony strategy

I wish I had some of Asamaic's stirling willpower and that I could put in place her smart food management strategies. o/

Well done Diane on the excellently healthy recipes you are creating these days. o/

I'm off to Spain for a week tomorrow - so I wonder how I will fare without my daily exercise classes and unfetterred access to drink and tapas etc.

Keep it healthy people. o/ :D

Well, I'm pleased to say that the scales have been moving in the right direction. o/

I've been very good at identifying situations in advance where I think I'm going to overindulge and compensating for this at other points in the day. Tomorrow will be hard because I have a work event and I can't cut back on food too much if I'm drinking, because I know I won't be able to handle my wine otherwise.

I will be as good as possible, but realistically, tomorrow may be the first day I can't quite stick to my goals. Which is fine. Big picture. Big picture.

Are you measuring as well as weighing, Preston1990? If you are doing a lot of exercise, you may be toning up even if you're not losing and toning is often a better result. o/

The only defence I have against gluttony is converting the delicious treat into numbers and weighing up whether it's worth it. Sometimes it is, but at least I spend the time thinking about it now and only indulge in the calories that I would regret not scoffing. :p

Keep posting everyone! o/
