I tail ran for the first time today! o/

Oh my goodness, it was very strange being on the other side... Today I was the person trying to encourage the slower runners to keep going. Usually I'm the one being encouraged. I really enjoyed it too! o/ I've already done 14,000 steps today and am going out again shortly.

There's something to be said for starting your weekend with a run - makes you feel a lot healthier in yourself.

Have a good one everybody!

Welcome back Stone_monkey o/
Well done Clarebarr on your 7lb weight loss.
Asamaic you are one inspirational lady.
I am ashamed to say I am eating rubbish and no exercise. Need to seriously break this habit as will be so embarrassed at the FMUKcon being over 2 stone heavier
I need to start logging on here more often and writing down my meals etc.

Don't worry Diane65, I've been very bad the past week or so & have gained a few lbs again.....so I have work to do to lose it again!
Where on this site can I find info about fmukcon? I always seem to miss it!

Sorry that it's too far for you as would love to meet you. We are trying to do a different city each year as we do a bit of sight seeing while we are there. I am actually going to London the following day - making the most of the £10 Virgin train offer. Probably be half dead for work on the Monday :X

Yes it's good to make the most of it! Do you have plans for where you'll go in London?

Inspirational is the wrong word for it, Diane65... I haven't actually lost any weight! But I do feel like I'm making progress with the running, so I'm pleased about that. If I hadn't been tail running, I think I could improved my time; it felt like a good day.

Went out for lunch and ran into SS, ejwrank, pxc and Livi92 in the same restaurant (all at different tables). And they say London is a big place where you don't know anyone...

Yes, what are your plans for London, Diane65? I will miss you because I'll still be in Leeds exploring.

It would be lovely to catch you at some point, ClareBarr. Hopefully at the next London FMUKCON! o/

Yeah, but you did a 5k yesterday, so that's highly commendable.

Yes it would be really lovely to meet you too! My health condition is making me feel isolated at the mo (I'm still in bed today as I write this), so when I have better days I try to make the most of them (without overdoing it). I could make a note in my diary for the day after fmukcon Diane, in case I feel up for travelling into London & in case you have a window of time to perhaps meet for a coffee? :)
