I've had members of the US & GB teams on my tube at times. Admittedly not going to their events to compete, though.

Also a full carraige of commandos going back from Olympic duty.

I thought you wouldn't need very much sleep though? My grandma would only sleep from about midnight to 5.30am each day. Having said that, general grumpiness if of course also a side effect of old age :mrgreen:

Oh has just b*ght tickets for the basketball next Thursday, looking forward to it.

Well done your OH, I can't get past adding them to my basket, I refreshed no BMX tickets, refreshed BMX tickets available, thought woohoo at last, only to get your are in a queue 15 mins till we check if they are still available, then sorry no tickets available! :wall: Think I may have to give up as it's starting to annoy me now!

Only really want BMX tickets, for my BMX mad son, it's like they are teasing you, tell you they are available then, no sorry you can't have them afterall! lol

I've given up trying to get tickets. Whenever I get close to anything we want to see, tickets are several hundred pounds each. Not worth it.

Yesterday it was showing £20 & £40 tickets for BMX plus the kids only p*y their age, so I would p*y that. We have paralympics athletics final tickets mostly because the kids wanted to see the stadium, they were a bargain, kids tickets for that for only £5!
