Thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes.
I have not been posting often here due to my hectic summer season of work. So it gives me a very warm feeling to receive your bday wishes despite my absence.
As for my birthday, I worked all day!! I know, so boring...but I took tomorrow off to spend my bday doing things I love to do...such as ritually watching a sci fi or horror movie at the cinema with my best mate every year on our birthdays since we were at secondary school over two decades ago and with many changes in our lives since, we never broke that brotherly ritual! Although sometimes if a heavy rock concert coincides we go to that. I chose to see Occulus, will see that tomorrow.
But the most important thing that I do on my birthday is to make sure my mother knows I have a good birthday as that makes her happy because in truth, its really her special day, not mine...as it is with every mother on their child's brithday. Its a time for me to thank her for working hard bringing me into this rather chaotic but most beautiful world in the universe. I hope to achieve more in life though and justify my priveledge of being an Earthling :)
So if your mother is still with you, dont ever forget that your birthday is her special day too :) ...and no matter what present she gives you...pretend you love it
