Go Reindeer Petting In Covent Garden

For the third year running, Covent Garden is luring in the Christmas punters with the promise of actual, live reindeer. You can pet them and everything. Remember, it’s not cruel to cage animals for public entertainment if they’re cute and good for local commerce.

The charismatic creatures are of a non-flying species and can be found in the eastern Piazza today and every Saturday until Christmas Eve. The cervine attraction also includes Santa imposters, offering a festive spectacle that can’t be bested this side of…the other side of the Piazza, where you’ll find a digital nativity.

I would love to visit Vancouver - I have relatives there but have never visited Canada. Vancouver is highly-rated for quality of life, too, and the scenery looks fabulous.

It's a fantastic city to visit or live in; clean, very friendly people, amazing scenery, Stanley Park, awesome things to do. It's in fact without a doubt my favourite city in the world. If it weren't so far away from my family in the Netherlands I'd move there permanently in an instance! Hope you get to visit there some day to see it for yourself.

Christmas in Vancouver was fabulous too; great parade and decorations (<--- trying to get back on topic, hehe)

I'm working this Xmas but Xmas 2012 in Vancouver sounds a great idea - never too early to start planning, either!
