script contained barely a laugh..not just me, ask the screening full of children & their parents. nearly stony silence throughout.
My screening, kids and all were in fits of laughter! :)

i saw it at mansfield, obviously cannot comment on other showings.

i also saw the 1950's Cinderella a couple of weeks ago. now there was a movie that was charming & funny.

anyway, each to their own.

Here in Bournemouth they also used a small cinema room so got filled up very quickly not sure if anyone didnt make it in.The film was good with a few laughter moments and the kids around us seemed to enjoy it as well.We stayed to the end to watch the clip, boy there were alot of names invovled in making this film.So overall a great saturday morning movie. o/

I thought it was very good, we all enjoyed it in spite of ending up very close to the screen and in the corner (but that's just my family not being able to leave the house in time, at least we were not late!) I wasn't impressed with La Luna, it was OK but film was much better! It was funny, it had a story to it...
I'll be more than happy to watch it again (may be kid's club? in a couple of months)...
We missed the bit at the end, because absolutely everyone! left the screen(it was a rather small screen) and I thought I got it wrong.. (I thought I DID see the end bit mentioned here...) anyway walked out as well... :noo:

After a friend asked me to hang out and catch it with him, I foolishly agreed to work my way through District 9, the military check-in, the Children Of Men encampment to get to a long queue to enter the screen at the O2. Thank goodness we missed most of La Luna, but the film was projected with the 3D out of synch. The projectors at the super screen need to be re-calibrated. Lots of issues with light in the wrong place, and images not aligned correctly. A bit of a mess. Not how it should have looked. Film wasn't as good the second time round, the pacing is far too slow at times. Still beautiful.

these were well animated, well thought out & above all, well scripted.

brave was none of these. due to 3d, i assume, action was largely blurred & therefore hard to follow.

script contained barely a laugh..not just me, ask the screening full of children & their parents. nearly stony silence throughout.

these movies cost millions of $. you would have thought someone would have checked the script before shooting.

    missed opportunity....4/10
    Brave wasn't well-animated? LOL.

    ...LOL

    well argued, sir.

have you finished? then let me retort...

no, it wasn't. shire horse that brave rode, moved more like a large feline than any horse i have ever seen.

also, as previously stated, action was blurred & practically impossible to follow. again, this may have been exasperated by poor use of 3d, but other recent 3d animations have avoided this problem, eg tintin.

I disagree completely. I had no issues with the action and if the 3D is an issue, that's not necessarily down to the animation. If you cannot see how gorgeously rendered the entire world of Brave is then, yes, all I can say is LOL.

I liked the film. I thought it looked good, enjoyed the music and found the film amusing and enjoyable. Lots of FMUKers trekked over to Whiteley's -- lovely to see funthing29, MrG, valda and celini and to meet tsoiboy at the end. We all stayed for the little bit extra at the end and then missed it trying to get our 3D glasses back on.
