Re: Trance
I have to agree there, there were a few pointless scenes which didn't really contribute to the film apart from being just random, probably added to try and throw you off track.raj101 wrote:well, hair today, gone tomorrow.

Mixed feelings about this film, I didn't enjoy it so much but didn't hate it either. Looking for to Boyle's follow-up to Trainspotting especially if all the original lead actors are involved.

Because
she references one of his real, suppressed memories. Later on, it becomes one of the pieces in the jigsaw fitting together.
Re: Trance
Since the girls are happy with McAvoy's butt I don't think we can complain about the odd nuddie chick, to be fair.
There were other scenes that aren't coming back to me now, I wouldn't mind seeing it again to keep a tally on the confusion/jigsaw.

Re: Trance
I got tickets to Henley on Sunday and while this is not one of Boyle's all time bests, it is certainly a hell of a lot better than some of his worst. It's got some extremely revealing nudity I might add too. Be prepared to see more of Rosario Dawson than you've ever seen before!

Yes, absolutely but
she references several important suppressed memories - why include this rather odd one ?
Well, because we get some full frontal nudity from Rosario Dawson. Personally, I thought her disappearing into the bathroom with the electric whirr of the shaver distracting. But I liked the film as a whole.
Re: Trance
Saw this at Harbourlights in Southampton and managed to do some quality FMUKer spotting. AYBG no less, was sitting in front of us!!
We recovered from a fever of collective swooning over our hot chocolates and managed to enjoy the film despite the scene described above. Was anyone else in the country treated to half an hour of Virgin-related adverts prior to the film?
There was much debate about the
MRI scenes - I'm reliably informed that psychologists wouldn't have a clue how to work an MRI scanner or what the hell to look for, unless the uniquely talented Ms Lamb had a BSc Hons in Radiography on the sly. That's her told!
Enjoyed this much more than Welcome to the Punch, so 8/10.

Re: Trance
I enjoyed the film but it gave my son a headache! I liked how it kept going round in circles which eventually got smaller and smaller until the truth was revealed. My son, however, who supposedly has lots more energy than me said he found it too tiring and gave up. Mixed reviews.
