Ahhh! Is there a good soul who would tape next week's Desperate Housewives for me, please, I won't be there and it's got John Barrowman in it!!!!
Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I watched "Big Fish" last night. it wasn't quite what i expected, but i did enjoy it. rate it? i would have to say seven out of ten. there were some disjointed scenes that were hard to follow, and some of the acting was a bit shallow. however, it starts with five, just because it was a Tim Burton film, and because it was all about fantasy.

Oh my... I'm addicted to The Wire and been watching an episode every night!
Unfortunately I'm finally coming to the end of the final fifth series, any other Wire addicts out there?

Yup. I went through it at 1 or 2 episodes per night. A show of incomparable quality.lemondrop wrote:Oh my... I'm addicted to The Wire and been watching an episode every night!

I'm watching Homicide: Life on the Street atm, also based on David Simon's work. That's how I'm coping post-Wire. I also intend to watch all of The Wire again.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Does the Wire series have a proper ending? Or was it cancelled prematurely. I want to watch the series but I hate getting hooked on something that eventually leaves you stranded. Just hate that. Or is this a series where it doesnt really need an ending to wrap up story strands?AYBG wrote:Yup. I went through it at 1 or 2 episodes per night.
