nort0n wrote:Ah, valda, that doesn't sound good! My gf's mother has trouble sleeping, can only sleep 3-4 hours or even 2 sometimes if she doesn't take sleeping pills and I know it is really rough. I hope you find a cure, or at least something that works for you!
I've tried everything and the Dr's don't prescribe sleeping pills in case I gt addicted, hence me trying anything I can think of. :wall:
The pills aren't the best thing. My mums got sciatica amongst other medical problems and she also finds it really hard to get any sleep. She's been taking the pills for so long now, that even if she takes four in one go, it won't effect her.

@Valda: have you tried meditation? (sitting on a nice relaxation chair, otherwise you'll hurt your knees and back!)

@Ejwrank: I like your kitchen too! it looks almost as big as my entire (tiny) flat :D

You will still have to sleep at some point, can't escape that!

Can anyone recommend a place (ideally not too far from Barbican as that is where his hotel is but could be a few tube stops away)?
I know there was one in Soho but havn't been there for ages and can't remember where exactly it was and what it was called.
Oh really sooorry, only just come online, been with mum all day.

Could have suggested a nice Thai place near Farringdon Station, and can be walked from the Barbican. It is above a pub called The Three Compasses at 66 Cowcross Street, Farringdon, London EC1M 6BP
Too late now! Sorry.
