We are headed to Wimbledon tomorrow for the Olympic tennis. Hoping the weather turns out OK (forecast is for some rain -- when isn't it??) as we are on Court 1.

Has anyone been to the O2 recently? You're apparently meant to get there 2 hours early - appreciate the Olympics are going on, but it seems ridiculous if you only want to catch a film at the Cineworld there. Some of my friends were elsewhere seeing some Olympic event and said that the security was actually really well handled and the queues were moving really quickly. Was just wondering (and hoping) that was the same for the O2?

Would be grateful for any news!

When we went to the O2 on Sunday. It was very well organised.
As soon as u get out of the train station they direct you towards metal detectors etc.
Then as they were all Bering used also got everyone to use all lane staff ones too. Once ur inside they is no more security really. But think u can't bring bottle filled with water Bigger than 100 mls. But u can b*y inside and they small newsagents. and brin them into arena.
It was organised very well.

People were complaining when we were leaving as to get to station u have to go in and out of lots and lots and barriers. But it kept moving so I wasn't complaining and straight onto train

And bonus when we went to O2. None of the security was from g4s. It was all army men in uniform.

Ah, I wish I could. Am still at work and security has switched off our TVs. Am going by the posts on Facebook. Definitely gonna check out the replays once I get home.
Finally saw this race yesterday and OMG that was epic. Le Clos pipped Phelps at the very last second to win Gold for South Africa.
Was absolutely stoked... and he Dad was great, shedding a tear and hiding underneath the SA flag :D

New found respect for Phelps as well as although he lost, he wasn't too bothered and congradulated Le Clos and didn't seem too bothered with silver.

Does anyone know if there's a separate site for purchasing tickets put up for re-sale? A few nights ago I listed one of my boxing tickets for resale and as of yet it still remains unsold...which is weird because it's valued at £75 and for the heavyweight quarter finals so it should be quite sought after but, according to the regular ticketing site, tickets for this event aren't even available. So what gives?

Craigslist?

Speaking of tickets, this is a perfect example of the shambles that is the ticketing site:
